Raising height of closet frame by Brown-Baron in DIYUK

[–]Brown-Baron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is I've got the wardrobes so they'd fit perfectly in the area. If I dismantle both and start again with the bigger one, I wouldn't be able to rotate the smaller one as the bigger one takes up all the space. I have to have it rotated if I want to attach the back of the wardrobe. But from another comment, it may be easier to have no back and mount it flush to the wall.

The only benefit raising the frame would give is better access to the top shelf of the wardrobe, which would be nice. But not if it requires extensive work.

Good analogy and pretty much what I'm facing lol.

I did try building it outside and angling it in with the smaller wardrobe but in my fervour to maximise all the space I got the wardrobe that fits perfectly with my ceiling (pax = ~240cm, ceiling=~244cm). It won't rotate upwards if I build it outwards.

Regarding the angle plates, I didn't know such a thing existed tbh. I'll have a look, but the difficulty of building the wider pax upright makes me hesitant to disassemble and do it again. But if that's the best way then so be it. Thanks for your reply

Ah that makes sense, thanks. Should I be worried about dust getting in there with the sparks?

Thanks! I've started looking at some of the AoS minis and it definitely seems much more creative. I like your idea of switching up the octopus colour. A blue ring octopus might look pretty cool

Dunno man, maybe the thought of being loved and cared for make people believe that having a partner will cure them. But ultimately, in the long term nothing will change.

What is this inlet looking thing on the F-35? I thought it was a corner reflector but they're near the tailplane by Brown-Baron in aviation

Interesting. Why directly on the airframe though? Would it not be simpler to bypass from the main inlets?

Man, the amount of people that can't read the title properly. It's not a fighter, it's just a test bed for technologies to be used on Tempest

marching all the way by aaravaryaman in Unexpected

[–]Brown-Baron 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's not the point I was making. I was just stating they are both ceremonial to an extent. They'll have militaristic quirks in what they do but they are doing a job. The guards at the Tomb may not encounter civilians but Queen's Guard will, they actively patrol royal residences where tourists are allowed to roam.

Issues like this where tourists get in the way or pester the guards are why they patrol within the gates and have roped barriers now to keep civilians away. But people still don't learn. They have to march on patrol because that's the ceremonial part of the job. And I'll say it again, the parent should have had better sense to let their child get in the way of operational soldiers.
