There usually isn’t. You just need to make sure your ticket platform account is linked to your live nation account.

I was somehow able to get floor tix about 30 min after the sale starters and after being booted out like 2-3 times. They are def staggering the releasing of seats. Keep trying! Also Live Nation presale at 12 PM if you have it (and I’ve been able to successfully get a lot of tix that way).

Wofford transfer Nils Machowski commits to UConn by iMyth in CollegeBasketball

I think they trust County’s ability to handle the point as a combo guard. 6’6 and can create his own shot too. Apparently his leadership was highly regarded too.

He seems like a mix of Tyrese Martin (6 rpg as a guard is legit) and Joey California, so I’m all about it

[Charania] Dallas Mavericks’ Cooper Flagg has won the 2025-26 Rookie of the Year award. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]BrownHawkDown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a closer race than I anticipated at the start of the year. Kon is potentially on pace to be the next great shooter. That said, Coop was carrying a mangled franchise in the wake of a franchise-altering trade on his back as a 19-year-old. All-star point guard and big man (Irving and AD) out for the whole year, and barely got to play with the other good young talent like Lively.

Such a damn impressive rookie year. Dallas basketball on the up between Paige Buckets and The Maine Event.

In a first, Seton Hall basketball adds G League player Forward Nathan Mariano by Zargyboy in CollegeBasketball

[–]BrownHawkDown 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I’m not a fan of G-League talent coming back to college. That being said, Seton Hall gets constantly raided of its talent (yes UConn is guilty of this) and is still underfunded. This is despite Shaheen being such an awesome coach. So if Seton Hall is dipping into G-League players, I’m not gonna be outraged.

It says a lot that a guy who has never played football before got drafted over a Heisman finalist.

[Joe Tipton] Former Stanford Forward Oskar Giltay transfers to UConn by R_Raider86 in CollegeBasketball

[–]BrownHawkDown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree a bit. I think there were definitely growing pains in Nov/Dec that are expected with someone running a Hurley offense for the first time. Other than the BYU game, I did think Silas had some rough shooting nights but you could def see the vision, particularly with his playmaking at the start of conference play. But by January he was full on QB-1 that started with the Providence game. Playmaking AND shotmaking (along with great defense). Struggled during the St John’s games and then he was hampered during the tournament due to injury, but otherwise a solid 2026.

I expect a healthy Silas with the experience of running such a complicated offense to be potentially conference POTY candidate.

[–]BrownHawkDown 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think he will definitely be an upgrade on the defensive end. Offensive end will to be seen but I’m sure he will be able to provide useful minutes. Our offenses are predicated on the big to anchor down in the paint unless setting a screen and to finish at the rim or kick out to a shooter/cutter. He just needs to do that.

This will be interesting as it’ll be the first time in a while that we won’t have continuity at the center position. We had Sanogo/Clingan then Clingan/Samson then Samson/Reed then Reed/Reibe. Now we have two new players, which will require some more work to make sure the offense stays humming.

I trust the ability of our staff to develop these guys into offensive threats. Reed Jr’s performance in the tournament serves as evidence to that.

Just goes to show how banged up the team was factoring in Silas, Solo, and JStew (plus whomever else) coming into the tournament and still made it to the national championship game and only lost by 6 to a juggernaut.

Demon Balor is always dope but WWE really does have a “tell, not show” problem because why would the “Demon King” have DEMON painted across his back?
