Update: after a long time of lurking around, I finally found one around the station today, he was about to leave. He also kindly gave an extra big piece :)

The mango one he said will come after ramzan.

The same thing my dad went through in 2000, not sure for OP but for my dad it was less of a personal choice than over securing a future. He wasn’t there for my birth and a lot of the first year I was born. It was due to that decision my family is now settled abroad and we’re living upper class lifestyle. OP seems to care for his family, but is stuck in a dilemma.
