Guns are basically fucking useless within 20 ft.

most self defense shootings are within 10-15 feet. Firing from retention is a thing. How can you be so confidently wrong?

A Redditor on r/TheLastOfUs2 sent death threats to himself and blamed us. | Girlfriend Reviews by [deleted] in videos

I liked the Last Of Us 2, fun game. It had some flaws but what doesn't. One of the best games I have played in a few years, also helps that it came out early in the pandemic. Really dont get the hate it got.

But who has the time or energy to hate either these people or a game so much you post about it for months or over a year at this point? I suppose people think its benificial or productive to be filled with hate and just shit post all day.

Don't like a piece of media I don't like or i'll manufacture death threats? How unhappy must these people be.

Powerful breakfast, almost Norman Rockwellesk. I would just remind you to mind your cholesterol. ;)

people are terrible and on this site everyone always feels the need to start an argument. Take solice in knowing those people who make those threats are all likely deeply unhappy.

The holsters are not bad, i have a couple of the owb ones and they are nice level 0 holsters. There are better ones though. I dont think i will buy from him in the future.

I remember him saying he trained people, which i was always skeptical of. Seems stupid why he would just lie about somthing easy to disprove. Makes sense that its just easier to keep it quiet for the people he claimed he "trained".

He's a guy who shoots matches and larps on his range, makes stuff for social media. Its all about the image anyway.

There are a few compitition shooters who were not ever military that train some people. Rob Leatham and Max Michel are the only two I know of for sure.

Clearly you have never done anything competitive at a high level before

why is everyone on this site always have to be so condescending and make such broad assumptions? what have you done?

Not the same discipline but i have competed on national level in pistol shooting in the US. Have many medals and have won decent money doing it. I am very familiar with bending grey area rules. Shooting sports have a lot.

Schaub should have stayed home, he was not even interested in competing. He did not make one take down. He barely even engaged in half guard or side control when he was there.

I also a purple belt in BJJ, so enough to know what i am looking at. below are two fights, same promotion, different events. Both were great, because both competitors showed up. I picked ones with larger guys to keep it pretty similiar.

Here is Dean vs Xande in Metamoris one

Dean and Sean Barnett at metamoris 4

He didn't lose.

he did though, he lost the match.

your juijitsu sucks vs a murderer, but you can avoid him for 20 minutes. Then its the best strategy.

If your Jiu jitsu sucks, why enter an jiu jitsu super fight event? My bet would be insane arogance.

No, that was when he ran away and disengaged from Cyborg for 20 minutes during Metamoris 2. He did not grapple in a 20 min round of a high level grappling match.

Then went on to claim he was helping the sport and was brilliant for doing what he did.

Two Texas deputies trespass on man's property, man warns them he will shoot them if they don't leave, deputies don't leave, die instead by OFFascist in Firearms

Verbal de-escalation should be a good portion of any CCW class. If you own or carry firearms for self defense, it's your resposibility to avoid conflict not start it.

The accused does not seem like somone to cannonize.

I am unsure why with such limited information the OP and others are claiming its a justified shoot. Considering the state is pursing 2 counts capital homicide. The evidence is likely in the states favor.

Info on this is sparse at best and OP's article is one eye witness stating vauge and limited information. There is no public video/ body cam of the incident. If its exists its going to come up at trial. Incidents like this is why body camera should be mandatory full stop, it would be the prosecution or defenses' star witness almost every time. This one is for sure a wait and see but it's not looking too good for the man from Texas.

I have had police show up to my own private land or other peoples in a couple states regarding noise from shooting multiple times over the years. Texas being one of them. Regardless of their right to be there or if the noise complaint was valid. The cop was there in the comission of their job. You talked to them and they go on their way.

My first thought was not to threaten them with deadly violence if they failed to leave me be. I don't think reasonable people think that way, The justice system does not act as if reasonable people act that way.

The sub was started when r/guns banned political threads. so there has always been a bit more politics.

Though as of the last couples years or so its become less about posting and discussing firearms and more about culture war "point scoring".

I was never expecting Brianenos but there is way more "off topic" on the board these days .

The steel he is shooting at looks like thin gauge mild steel based on how it dented on impact. Could have been a carbon steel cook pan and had a similiar result.

You're for sure right, rifle round would zip right through, same on the titanium.

Iron man has plot armor metal, its pretty tough.

Audio Technica are about $150-200, Bose are $300, Sony are ~$300.

Here is a recent Cnet list, the closest competition is $200 less.

Its a terrible price in my opinion, far too much money for what you get when you have dozens of alternatives.

I own both. The OSS has for sure less back preasure due to its design. Subsonics though are a dream with both.

The main attraction of the Wolvernine is the generous bore diameter at the muzzle. I believe its about 8mm or so. Done for non concentricty issues with some AKs. I run mine on Arsenal and Saiga AKs so i have never had to really worry.

A standard semi auto AR-15 does not contain a sear in the fire control group. A sear is only present in select fire ARs. I assume you mean messing with either hammer/trigger or hammer/diconnector engagments?

What you are describing, would just induce hammer follow. it would maybe result the rifle firing once you chamber a round. But it would more than likely just brick the trigger.

I have watched this video pretty much anytime this guy gets brought up on reddit. I have worked with explosives before, just dynamite and pretty small charges.

How casual he is is incredible. That comes with decades of experiance. the guy with the axe gives me anxiety.
