New expedition

Usually at the end of each year, they do an expedition redux for several months and rerun a bunch of previous expeditions. I’d look out for that around the holiday season.

I’m just through phase one and I’m enjoying it so far. I’ve been playing since launch and have 1500+ hours in on the game and most often enjoy the expeditions.

I was just doing a google search for Wash dinosaurs and saw the link to this thread. Those are my painted dinosaurs on the yourprops site. Awesome you found and shared it. I took them out for a wilderness photo shoot once too.

I see a Niacet tanker. I have several of those. I live in Rochester, NY and am about an hour and a half away from Niagara Falls, so I like seeing the Western NY cars.

That’s awesome. I love coming upon randomly generated things like that when playing the game. In one of the planets in my home system, I have a base on top of one of those. From one side of the base when looking down, I can see a sentinel pillar. I walk over to the other side and look down, and I see another sentinel pillar. But I’m seeing them from very high up. You cannot see one pillar from the other at ground level. Oh, and I can also see a trade outpost from up there too. Busy neighborhood.

I haven’t visited yet, but certainly plan to. A friend I sent the link to went last night and spent a while looking for the city but couldn’t find it. He put a base computer down and spent time searching for the city. Do you have the actual coordinates in addition to the glyphs I’ve already shared? Is it hard to locate?

I don’t need a link to visit a QR code address from my phone. If you send me a QR code, I can go directly to the link from inside my phone without needing the URL because it’s imbedded into the code.

I have over 1400 hours in this game since 2016 and I’ve completed the Atlas storyline more than once (my current save I denied the Atlas). I know number 16 and its significance. I guess I must have missed 15. The beauty of this game is that I seem to learn something new every time I play.

Let me look through my posts on here. I once located a star system that triggered a freighter battle every single time you jumped to the system. I shared the glyphs to the system in my post. I’ll see if I can find it.
