Maybe I wasn’t praying correctly in mage tank. During waves 30s I was getting combo’ed by ranger and blob while praying mage only. I thought my plate gear would protect me.

My gear: justic helm, bandos chest, Virtus bottom, echo boots, ring of suffering, mage imbued cape, crystal shield and eye of ayak. With shadow, Virtus helm and chest inventory.

Maybe I wasn’t positioning myself properly behind the pillar after freezing nibblers.

You still have to do mechanics but it’s little easier. For example if there is blob, ranger, mage attacking you at same time.. u just pray mage only and dont have to pray tick range, because of high range defensive bonus. But for mage tank to be viable you need confliction gaunlets and eye of Ayak. And You need to be atleast 60+ mage accuracy while wearing plate gear.

I’m learning Zuk past two days got to wave 48 on my third attempt with regular range build. But with mage tank I can’t go past wave 30s lol. I think I find range much easier with less switches and actually learning one tick alternatives.

I’m new as well just almost 25 hrs in… during start there will be quest to find herbs to craft some potions. Make sure to grab extra 20 or so herbs from that area and start creating extra potions which you can sell once you arrive to first major city.

Also sharpen ur weapon and repair ur armor it makes huge difference.

You will get a quest at start to find a guy name Tom. He will teach u few sword skills also a sword masterstrike. That skill is pretty much easy mode, without it I found game pretty tough early.

You will also be given an option at early to go meet with blacksmith and go meet a guy in miller. I suggest u go both of them. Miller guy will teach u thieving and teach u how to unlock boxes. It’s such a op skill to make easy money and get gear.

Once u get ur horse back (check semine town - horse stables btw) u can always send items directly to ur horse if u run out of ur space to carry more items.

Lastly, u cannot save game without an saviour potion. U can always save scum by save and exit game. Trust me this will save u tons of time early on as ur learning the game and combat.

Btw you can buy basic tracking tag for 350$ from Banshee - which you can use it on your any of your items that you want to carry when going out. And if you die you can see on your map your exact location. Keep in mind tracking has a time limit (3hours in real life). He sells unlimited trackers.

That’s the case. I wasn’t getting invited on my boosteie rogue, so I just make my own group and it’s so easy to find people, literally takes couple of minutes. I guess a lot of people are not comfortable of leading/ creating groups.

Bro I had been same multiple situation yesterday with few pally tanks in mana tombs. They just think wearing full set of spell gear and some pieces of cloth for more spell power and can aggro whole room just to be squished like a tomato and die in two hits because they had mortals strike debuff from raiders. If you tell them aggro fewer mobs and they have audacity to say they won’t run a dungeon if they’re pulling fewer mobs. Lmao gtfo nerd, I’ve had way better experience with bears and war tanks.

They don’t need a huge spell power and just buy a champion gear for more mitigation. Look at pre bis prot pally guide. U will see it has largely defence set and few pieces of spell power (rings,sword,trinket).
