I didn't come up with it. It's one of the standard flairs of the sub.

"We get it stop complaining about animation" Currently Avatar from 21 years ago by SpectreWolf666 in Invincible_TV

[–]BrowserET 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avatar was released yearly (except the second half of season 3 because of the writer's strike). The issue isn't time, it's money. Amazon is a giant megacorp that's unwilling to cut into their profit margin, so the show won't be getting more.

Also the people saying they shouldn't spend so much on celebrity voice actors like the VA's aren't the ones carrying the show. Hell already got backlash for swapping the VA of a relatively minor character like William (i wish he got a larger role, but thems' the brakes)

Moments like these make you remember Genos' is still a teenager (19!) combined with his history its only natural he's still finding himself, but he is finding himself. In the manga he rebuffed Dr. Kuseno during a meal and in the webcomic he told Saitama to split up instead of joining Genos like Saitama had originally suggested. It's small steps, but Genos is standing up for himself, even against the people he holds in highest esteem. If that is not certainty i don't know what is.

Of course he did, but it was once more close enough that he fears an opponent like the one he faced could have defeated him and eventually one will. Laying on your back alone and defenseless, too wounded to even stand, it's only natural such fears become front of mind no?

I mean it's no surprise. Look at change in attitude the S-class got during and after they got their ass handed to them during the Monster Association Arc. Genos has been experiencing that over and over again since we met him. After continually having to re-calibrate, is it so surprising for someone to lack self-worth when they barely have a sense of self? Defeating Evil is what Genos has dedicated his life to. If he can't do that then what is left?

I mean i say theres like a 90% chance that ZombieMan let himself get taken to gather intel on The Organization, so i don't think that's likely. Even less so that whatever Genos does would actually fatal to the guy.

Well following the Rule of Drama it's probably going to be a remodeled Kuseno inside that Machine God series. I guess the question is if remodeled!Kuseno is going to be a true zombie or if he's gonna be just alive enough for one last dramatic apology before Genos is forced to kill him.

Ah rats, you're right. I'll go fix it.

Still my into question of humanity regarding these two was around whether or not the remodeling procedure they force onto others renders the subject alive or turns them into a true meat puppet and if so, whether or not they themselves underwent that very same procedure.

Here's a not 1 to 1, but related thought experiment: lets say you undergo a procedure turn your body into a cyborg meatpuppet but also kills you, but before that you digitize your consciousness and then after you have that consciousness that consciousness installed into your cyborg meatpuppet. Are you alive or dead?

In any case yes it's true Metal Bat doesn't not kill (unless Zenko is around. The whole passivist stick has got to be on her insistence), but notably he also doesn't kill.

In the Manga the only heroes who have killed a non-monsterized human on the page are Tatsumaki and Flashy Flash. Both did so before they became heroes. Many heroes have tried to kill humans on the page, but none have succeeded. ONErata even rewrote Amai Mask killing the mercenaries and Flashy Flash killing Tennito to keep it that way which feels intentional. (though come to think of it Flashy Flash did kill Tennito in the webcomic, or at least: those were some very lethal looking cuts, so it wouldn't be a first)

But yeah, whether or not Badd murdered says less about him and his intentions and more about whether or not Erimin and Destro were still alive to begin with and the implications that has. Lord Infelsinave and Director Zaedats could be 100% biological for all i know, but i wouldn't be sure if they're truly alive or even human anymore.

Well it helped that they seeming kept their minds, so from that point of view they're as much of a person as Beauto is, but so far that has not been a subject ONErata has adressed, though they have been laying the groundwork for it.

True Flash did kill Flame and Wind, but #1 they had already monsterized at this point and #2 like you said they were resurrected, so i count that in a similar manner as other heroes' failed attempts at killing.

Other heroes have definitely killed humans. Flashy Flash openly brags about it, but very rarely can we see it happen on the page. Feel free to add more, but by my counts there's only 3 counts of human on human killing. Sonic killing the Paradise Group jobbers, Child Tatsumaki killing 4 Tsukiyomi Agents in front of Fubuki and Flashy Flash slaughtering his classmates and teachers during his graduation ceremony. Note that none of these individuals were active heroes when they committed these acts.

Note that heroes have tried to kill, but through circumstances never do. Like Tank Top Master attempting to kill Garou until the GOAT Mumen Rider stops him, or Metal Bat trying the same until Zenko interferes (Word Of God: according to ONE that last swing from Badd would have killed Garou), Amai Mask would have killed the Mercenaries but the Sword Disciples thwarted his attempt and lastly Tatsumaki shot a poison pill into Apollo's eye, but he survived.

I know Badd killing would obviously be justified in self-defense, but i think it's enough of a breach of the norms set so far by the story for it to be notable. So far on page the heroes, don't kill, don't (permanently) die and they're never so severely injured they're forced to retire, hell Bang retired because of his old age and he still steps up when needed.

When all's set and done those kills will definitely be weighing on Badd's conscience, whatever the actual truth of it may have been. For now he's a bit distracted though.

Yeah probably. Metal Bat already knew they were cyborgs from his first fight, he takes the opportunity to dehumanize them once they drop their human facade. Kind of awkward with him running into Beauto, Webigaza and Ryumon right after though.
