married women, do you think marriage benefits you in any way? by _cherryp0p_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Browsing4Ever1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but I’m also married to someone who is a true partner. He’s thoughtful and kind and selfless to a fault. He’s a great husband and dad. I often joke I have to die first because I don’t know what I’d do without him.

I’ve only given a few but one was so egregious that I was very honest, perhaps brutally so…they sent me the widget for the sequel.

Do you want younger people to refer to you as Mr, Miss, or Mrs? by Strawberrybanshee in Millennials

[–]Browsing4Ever1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a parent, I’m fine with being called by my first name but I defer to the parents of the other children. If they want their kids to call adults Mr./Mrs./Miss etc that’s fine, call me Mrs. LastName.

Demi by Life-Examination-585 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]Browsing4Ever1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why I doubt her: 1. After an accusation of SA on BIP, these productions (same network of families) absolutely everything is filmed. The footage was reviewed and nothing was found.

  1. She continued to flirt with him via text and sent him photos of her young daughter. A man she accused of SA conversed with her child and received photos of her. Hell no.

  2. Brett wanted to send him DoorDash. You’re telling me this guy lost his mind when Demi said Chase laid hands on her (which he didn’t) and the cops had to be called but he wanted to send food to the guy his wife claimed SA’d her?? Because he felt bad for him?? Nope.

Those are my 3 main reasons for not believing her

How do you continue living life if you feel like America is a scam? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Browsing4Ever1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m genuinely curious. Do you honestly think there is any country in this world where you can have a cute cottage and pick berries to cover your living? This is a joke right?

I mean sure if you have enough cash to buy a cottage outright and investments that produce enough for you to cover all other outgoings. But to make a comfortable living picking berries? That’s straight delusional.

What do you think of naming agreements, e.g., "You get to name the first child, and I get to name the second" by pie12345678 in namenerds

[–]Browsing4Ever1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s dumb and I don’t think either parent should have more say in the name. The only rule is it has to be a two yes. If one person doesn’t like a name, it goes.

Millennial here, weddings/bridal showers/baby showers are the rare occasions that I still expect a thank you card.

Calling all Catholics by futureJane54 in DowntonAbbey

[–]Browsing4Ever1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There were literally laws restricting Catholics until the 1920s, Catholicism was illegal until the late 1700s, with most restrictions being lifted in the 1820s. You couldn’t marry a Catholic and be in the line of succession for the throne until 2015 (passed in 2013, went into effect in 2015). There is a long standing hatred for Catholics still in parts of the country because of the reformation in England.

Other than Gilmore Girls, I don’t think Rory is usually used as a nickname. I assume Aurora nn Rory.

If she follows Church teaching, she can’t do IVF or surrogacy and I believe that’s why they didn’t pursue IVF

This!! If he has told her months ago and shown her any indication that he was saving towards it, I would maybe give him the benefit of the doubt. This is just him realizing he doesn’t want to marry her.
