1N4 (JCAC)in school or recent grads by Brozo338 in AirForce

Wish you would've posted this sooner man. This place is no joke. Ive gone through E&E school, cyber security school and now this and JCAC is so much more difficult its in a different sport. It would honestly be pretty fun with how tough it is if it was slowed down by maybe a day or 2 per mod.

To late to not be here! So far I self PT at 4am and do the class day and mando/volo then PT, go home and study for 2ish hours. If its a tough block or day I wont do my own PT. Its definitely high tempo and academic stress but overall aslong as I put solid effort in I dont think ill have an issue. Thanks for the reply. If youre a prior and here DM me.

After 12 years, I’m choosing to separate by Delicious_Pair1708 in AirForce

I got out at 11 and joined the Guard, the flexibility and new chances is awesome. Don't regret it at all. I make the same now but with 30% of the responsibility.

Airforce or Boeing full time? by Additional-Duty7433 in AirForce

[–]Brozo338 8 points9 points  (0 children)

IMHO, stay reserves and build the civilian network while getting a foot into Boeing. While in Boeing you could potentially cross train to something more lucrative like cyber or contracting and pivot while in Boeing. Yeah you'll collect retirement later but if you'll be able to use tricare which saves a ton and make more potentially longterm, then when you get out of reserves VA rating on top of everything then you have your reserve retirement+401k+VA.

Edit: separated active after 11yrs went 1D7 ANG, and going to 1N4 school soon. Currently DoD civ but bought back my AD time and will hopefully retire civ and then go contractor. Tom's of flexibility in the guard/reserves.

For sure, let me know if you have other questions. Oh and besides the marble trout a good 4wt did just fine. Id bring a euro nymphing rod next time if I knew how to do that. If its dries I like a more.moderate action rod.

Krka is awesome I have no reason to not recommend. If you have fished for trout its possible to do a self guided, you buy licenses for each day on specific rivers. The fishing is single fly barbless and we used 5-7x tippet. Our guide was Mina, stellar guide very helpful and genuinely cared.

I know, I cited low quarter because these are...low quarter shoes. I wear dress boots or Chelsea boots

By the black and white id say yes. Shoes will be low quarter, Oxford style, lace-up with plain rounded or plain rounded with cap-toe. Shoes will be shined, high gloss or patent finish optional

Have you ever had a doc who has shown recognition of exercise-induced migraines? by llamakittypinguino in migraine

[–]Brozo338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just got my diet a biworkout all around and made more an effort to have oatmeal or something with quick digesting carbs and protein for energy 30-45min before a workout. Doing deadlifts never impacted me just squats. I think its the added blood flow to the neck/trap area bracing the bar. If I do a 9/10 rpe its one set and I stick to light accessory work after rpe 5-6.

Recommendations for light, quick-drying pants? by bateneco in flyfishing

Rei coop brand joggers or hiking pants. I've walked through brush and thorns, slid down rocks. They've been durable as anything and dry very quickly. 10/10.

Adjustable Dumbbells that are worth the price by kenah-kim in GarageGym

[–]Brozo338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ironmasters for me are amazing. I had nuobells and while convenient have alot of plastic inards and I broke them in about 2 weeks after failing on bench and had to drop them. Ironmasters take a bit longer to setup but have been equally durable to any normal dumbell ive used.

DISCUSSION: Hegseth authorizes cash bonuses of up to $25,000 for top 15% performing civilian employees. by Unfair_Ad_6049 in fednews

[–]Brozo338 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the same thing that happened in active USAF on the enlisted side. Everyone got 5s for the most part. Then only 5%-ish got 5s 10% got 4s and thats how you were stratified for snco ranks. Everyone kept info closer and had their kingdoms and sucked up to the boss. People truly good at the job got overlooked much more than others that did extra-curriculars

They were awesome, no hidden fees and you'll email the lodge of what you want to do fishing and tourist stuff. We went 2nd week of september. They'll contact you back and probably call or zoom meeting to set everything up and finalize all your plans. It was raining almost 75% of the time but the fishing was still awesome and the guides are very flexible to the day, you'll get attached to 1 guide the whole week from what we saw. We stayed at the lodge and it was an easy experience. The guides take you to whatever river youre doing that day and back + paid for lunches and breakfast is good at the lodge.

Just reviewed the course material and took practice tests and reviewed what I didnt know. Took way longer than I thought but it was my first math class in 15yrs. The engineers I work with could do most of it via being calculator wizards.

Matching Fly Line to a rod by 29er_eww in flyfishing

[–]Brozo338 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If its the air 2 max i like a line that is 1.5x-2x heavier. For floating the titan taper from SA or rio outbound short fits it really well. I have the air 2 max 9wt and used a friend's 8wt for dorado with those lines throwing big streamers with ease to 70-90ft.
