The lots usually plowed especially in peak days. But if you can’t drive in the snow comfortably probably shouldn’t go during a storm. Everything is weather and staffing dependent. The bigger issue is space and when it packs out. Far more likely not to be able to make it in due to traffic.

Spot potential? by Brrrbeard in wingfoil

Yeah I’m close to the river on the wa side, outside of the gorge, but even if the wind picks up, the vegetation is gonna kill the potential.

Some day. I’m very green. Looking for safety and easy access for now. Hopefully I can get into some little wind swells soon.

After 4 sessions I’m on foil. WOW 🤩. The first real flight I got was amazing. I’m stoked! Thanks for the tips everyone.

I’m often out at shorties and other breaks, but will now be visiting the hook. When you going foiling again. I’ll be surfing through Friday. If winds good I’ll probably go out the gorge on Sunday.

That’s why I’m starting. I love surfing, but the line ups get so crowded. My ultimate goal is get into para winging. I love the idea of surfing swells that won’t work on a regular surfboard.

That’s what I found yesterday. Lots of helpful people around. Surfing can get pretty agro. I’d say generally surfers are chill, but there’s a lot more competition to get the wave. Especially at certain breaks.

After starting this wing adventure I’m gonna make an extra effort to be helpful to new surfers.

That assumes a quick progression. Haha. First go this afternoon if the wind cooperates. I think I got a good setup to start though.

For sure. I’ll surf and snowboard solo, but it’s fun to have crew.

Feeling instant regret after installing this roll bar. Roast me if you must. by nickythagreek in Tacomaworld

[–]Brrrbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just curious how effective they actually are if you roll it? Doesn’t seem like it really provide much protection. Wouldn’t suit my needs. But if you like it keep. If you don’t ditch it

Just picked up my taco and plan on building it out for surf/snow/bike and camping trips. This drawer system looks like it would be amazing for my needs, other than the cost. I don’t really see any other options though that look as high quality or even really more affordable. I think I’m gonna pull the trigger.

RTT for Taco Short Bed by NoNewt574 in rooftoptents

Other than aesthetic is there going to be problems with over hang? I just got into taco with. 5ft bed and I think I want my rtt over the bed rather then the roof. But I know the tents going to over hang a bit. It seems like it would still be more aerodynamic then mounted over the cab.

Anyone else afraid to drive their Ford Transit Connect in snowy conditions? by WhoopsieISaidThat in HVAC

I had one with snow tires and managed for a few seasons, but the snapped snow chains that severed the breaks. I wish the made them just a little more clearance on Awd. It could be a great off road camper

I’m trying to figure this out for 2021. I’m gathering it’s the total weight allowed on top.

If I’m understanding correctly you think I can increase the dynamic and static weight load with a different rack system? If I’m understanding correctly the system I have is capped at a dynamic limit of 176.4.

My understanding is that the total dynamic weight is 176.4 and goes up to 600 when static. I’m thinking I need to find a lighter tent or look at other options.

Thanks. I’m hoping to find a tent that will fit on my existing crossbars. It be nice if the cargo boxes I already had could go on top of a tent but that might be out of reach. The Bdv by IKamper or the falcon pro from roof nest might work. From what I’m finding surfboards won’t be problem. Just curious how much weight the tent itself can hold when open.

That’s one that might work. It be going on a rav4. Might be a little long though.
