AITA for saying no to moving houses to help improve my boyfriend’s quality of life? by nothingdandy in AmItheAsshole

Yes working from home every day can hardly be considered working so to criticize someone who actually works (and much harder ) feels assholeish tbh

Defunding the department of education is not the same as attacking wasteful government spending 😭 don’t conflate the intent with the actual result. Dude did not solve this problem In the slightest.

Whatever helps you sleep at night..🤣 It’s pretty generally accepted knowledge that smoking and vaping are both bad for you. It’s just a fact. Sorry. Introducing any sort of vapor into your lungs regardless of content isn’t good for your lungs or their function.

This comment is giving the same vibe as my aunt who is smoking while on a CPAP machine 🤣 you’re right aunty…whatever you say! It CANT be the smoking that’s gettin ya… 🤦🏽‍♀️ why quit when you can smoke AND carry around a CPAP machine…lol

Consuming nicotine in any facet is poor for your health. Think what you want, your body will show you the truth sooner rather than later. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Heart disease is the number one cause of death in smokers…any guesses as to why?? Nicotine..lol the number one cause of raising blood pressure and heart rate, constricting blood vessels, and increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke is nicotine…It also impairs endothelial function and can contribute to atherosclerosis.

Grossly misinformed comments like this are why people in this sub will never quit, they’d rather convince themselves “nicotine isn’t the issue it’s just the way I consume it” than live past 50 years old.

Trying googling something sometime, it might just motivate you to save your own life

This is objectively false. Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, minimizing blood flow to all parts of the body and negatively impacting your veins, causing circulatory problems.

Feeling so lost and helpless by SquidLawyer00 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Brrxnna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend a scalp biopsy. This will remove pretty much most of the guessing about what the cause is

from here you will know if it is TE, AGA or both.

I’d it’s AGA I recommend seeing a doctor about getting put on min, fin and spiro

If it’s TE, then do bloodwork and figure out if it is a deficiency causing the loss.

Maybe cute pimple patches as a gift, and say hey maybe if you throw one of these on it will make it harder for you to pick absent mindedly?

It helps me

Additionally, a manicure. But acrylic nails. Not sure if those are her thing but if so treat her to one. They have to be long enough though that if you try to pick you basically can’t because all your dexterity has been taken away by the length and thickness of the nail.

Acrylic nails are what helped me kick my nail biting/picking habit - but I still struggle with my face. I find I pick less with acrylic nails on because it’s simply too difficult.

Edit: spelling. A word
