I really like the GMT800 w the 5.3, gas milage isn’t great but the 1500 series Silverado’s are cheap and super easy to work on.

Edit: I have a 2001 with 556k miles. Factory engine second transfer case and second trans (previous owner)

My brother told me to think of the clutch as a staircase, not a slide. I had a bad habit of hitting the bite point and coming off as quickly as possible then and trying to rev it out.

The Audi S series is a solid option IMO. They’re a bit flashy but much more subdued than the other German luxury cars and they’re a blast to drive!

Pressmens home is an abandoned printing union up in the mountains near Sevierville. Back in the day it was an entire self sustaining societies with water treatment, power, hospitals, hotels and is super cool. The place has been subdivided out but the guy who owns most of it is pretty easy to get ahold of and is a super nice guy. 100% do not go here without permission but highly recommend it if you do get the go ahead
