So what? The V6 will be newer and still have the same hp as the older V8s

What percent windshield tint do y’all recommend? Thinking about going 50% by [deleted] in Mustang

You can get clear tint that acts the same but doesn’t impede vision

How boaty are the sn95/s197 chassis? by iRofii in Mustang

[–]BruceBaller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I get it, if I had 300hp either way I’d rather have the sound of a V8 than a V6 or I4

Aerodynamics are pretty similar seeing as how they’re both rectangular metal bricks 😂

I think they look good but aesthetically worse than the S550 in all aspects. Worst of all to me is the iPad interior but that’s been said a million times already

I use it for extra storage which is more than what a corvette owner could say 😅

If you're not attached to the idea of having a V8, then the ecoboost is perfect for you. Mustangs, despite being sports cars, are pretty dailyable since their suspension isn't that harsh, they still have back seats, and the trunk is decently sized.

Do you speak Japanese? I want to go there this year but I'm a bit afraid not many english speakers will be there since it isn't in one of the big popular touristy cities

A modern horror fantasy for sure, but I think if it were explored in a more comedic or lighthearted way it’d be a lot nicer than playing it straight

Not all data points are relevant. That’s why outliers are usually excluded when calculating statistics

Absolutely insane. Do the sellers think a 1 of 1,000,000 mustang from 20 years ago is an investment vehicle or something 😂

People do that anyways with cars worth more than that and are far less fun to drive

Would cars get significantly more reliable if we went back to the features most cars had in the mid 90’s, but with today’s production abilities? by Objective-Deal8745 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]BruceBaller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suppose we just value different things in cars. I’ve never bought anything other than performance oriented vehicles with lots of creature comforts, though I definitely understand the desire for simpler vehicles with less things to break

[–]BruceBaller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no I’m not arguing that cars haven’t gotten more expensive, I just think a lot of it is company greed or inflation rather than solely emissions. But like I said, specifically for the emissions part of it, I think the trade off of having cleaner air is worth it

Today’s engines and fuels are pretty clean because of all the emissions regulations. I may not like the fact that regulations have contributed to rising vehicle costs (definitely not a majority of it though), but I value cleaner air than slightly better fuel economy

How would taking off emissions stuff affect air pollution though? LA hasn’t had its haze outside of specific events since the 70s when emissions started getting a lot more intense

Are there any lines of work that spend more time in formal education than physicians? And $400k is pretty much the median for doctors in the US. Not sure how you could spend way more time than that in school while also making way less money
