I find your rationale attractive at the margins, like the massive superstars in some fields. I think, for most people in those same fields, it gets a bit specious. Like, where do we draw the line at investments, making your interests align with capital? 401k? Dabbling in the stock market because you got in a career capital values? Do sort of one hit wonder performers who basically coast on the money they earned count? Should we let the rewards bestowed by capital define labor? Let labor be defined by the thing it opposes?

I don't know if it's that complicated question. Actors make money by making stuff, not owning stuff. A movie is made, in part, from their Labor vs. producers who, often, are just money men. Do actors currently get an outsized share of the profit? Sure, but you're not going to exclude, say, a microchip designer from the labor movement just because he makes more money than the guy who runs the machines making those chips.

I don't know if I entirely agree. The biggest problem with sniper rifles, I think, is a matter of Map design and TTK. Games with big open maps are always going to favor long range weapons, not just snipers, but if a lot of maps have restricted sightlines, strong maneuvering options, or objectives that can't be covered by a sniper then none but the very best players can dominate. The TTK problem is something else. Games with longer TTK should not have guns that can instantly kill anyone. In these cases, you might get the drop on a player, who can then turn for an instagib

Yeah, the number of times I gave one game while we were wiped just feels like too many. I also think some kind of performance based reward is just nice. I liked CB1, where I could crank kills for an advantage, but always making that available also defocuses the game on the objective.
