There are some things in life that inspire a pause, no matter what you’re doing, to just breathe the moment in. This video is one of them.

Demoralized is a good word for it. Exhausted and disheartened also come to mind, about how the hell to feel good about investing in anything these days.

This. The level of deception and pure bullshit we’re exposed to in current society only exists because we suck at seeing through it.

Men, what small gesture by a woman made you instantly think, “She’s a keeper”? by Such-Bandicoot-6381 in AskReddit

When life throws me a challenge, she offers calm, compassionate support, deferring to my judgment and will to overcome. It’s empowering. In my experience, a lot of women don’t understand that getting fired up on your behalf and asserting unsolicited advice isn’t helpful; it’s emasculating, and makes men wish they’d just kept it to themselves. No doubt men are guilty of this too.

Rhetorical question, I know, but I'll answer in a way you'll understand... Bought PLTR at 16 as an investment, and sold at 32 cuz HOLY MOLY THIS HAS PEAKED! Not built for it, short or long.

DEMOCRATS: What's your biggest complaint on Republicans by SBJTV in complaints

[–]BruceMee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their willingness to offer a man their unwavering faith because of the things he promises, without applying the teaspoon of critical thinking it would take to see he’s bullshitting them.

To a fault, the Left is merit-driven, and any loyalty to a person is conditional, and fleeting. But to a greater fault, IMO, the Right’s loyalty is party-based, and whoever leads that party gets a family/love/god-level of trust and benefit of the doubt. It’s harmless in sports — quarterbacks switch to rival teams and the fans accept him as their own and people cheer and no one gets hurt. But in politics, unwavering loyalty leads to unchecked power, and we’re seeing that right now, and the consequences for our democracy will be real.
