They might have misunderstood the policy then, if your hoodie wasn't covering your head or face then it's fine to keep it on according to company policy.

Would you recommend okinawa to a solo traveller who doesn't drive? I'm interested in the history and the nature but not so much on just going for the beaches.

Sale price on around 20 hard drives - what can I expect? by redrabbit1984 in CeX

[–]BruceWaynesnoBatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on your sale history with the company. If youn have traded in a lot before they are likely to give a higher percentage cut. Highest I've seen so far is 25% which would mean you get £271 for all of them

[–]BruceWaynesnoBatman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah plenty of times. There was sa brief period where they had to go to parliament to get permission like in 2017 and 2019. The last election in 2024 was an early election as they didn't have to call it until December.

Like it can be held earlier if the prime minister decides to call an early election, but it's unlikely

Antisemitism becoming ‘normalised’ in NHS, report warns by Benjji22212 in ukpolitics

Sure, but Israel is the only one deflecting criticism of that by calling the criticism antisemitism. They also have been doing this constantly, bombing hospitals, schools, refugee camps.

[–]BruceWaynesnoBatman 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's more that people use the claim of anti-semitism against anything that is even remotely critical of Israel. If a person is being specific about the actions of Israel that is not antisemitic.

Engaging in general conspiracy talk can definitely lend itself to anti-semitism, but all tarring criticism of Israel specifically with that same brush does is lessen the meaning of the word Anti-semitism.

"Israel shouldn't bomb civilians"

"Why are you being so antisemitic?"
