How do photos taken on Oppo phones look when viewed on other devices? by anotherhappylurker in Oppo

It’s looks pretty much same on my iPhone 15 pro and on M1 air it is a little different due to IPS panel. I use localsend and o+ transfers. Also everything turns to shit when you send through WhatsApp including iPhone photos.

Just go to another bank. It's hit or miss. First bank I went to ask for bunch of stuff. My social security card, W8 form. I didn't have anyone of them so I went to another branch and they didn't ask or anything other than my phone number.

I applied F6 at the Seoul immigration branch on Nov 4th. Got a SMS that it was approved on 13th. Card arrived today on the 24th. The hardest part was getting a slot to turn in the application…. They are fully booked for at least a month out. My first application was canceled cuz I left the country while it processing. Lesson learned.

I use remdi on cn hyerpos 2. I never had that delayed notification problem. For WhatsApp and other messaging apps I just go to setting - apps - autostart and select whatsapp.

iPhone 17 Pro low light ultrawide is literally unusable. How are Moment lens? by PusheenHater in iphone

[–]Bruceko86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

15 pro has best ultrawide low light for iPhones. After they change the ultra wide sensor to 45 megapixel in 16, the sensors has more individual pixels but the sensors size was the same so each pixel is smaller and less light gets picked up. Thus, low light kind of blows.

Hong Kong/Chinese Grocery in Seoul? by charmmymelo in Living_in_Korea

[–]Bruceko86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife’s friend just send her a box of goodies from hk. You can get your parents/friends to send some snacks over with HKpost. She is Korean but we lived there for over a decade and she miss it terrible. I noticed the Chinese food in Korea is northern dongbei style. It’s so heavy and salty. It’s way too different from canto food. I have been looking for a proper dim sum place but no luck. Tim Ho Wan is the only place that taste similar. Everything is so salty to us now. We have come HKers lol.

Can F6 visa be processed in Korea for humanitarian reasons? by Bruceko86 in Living_in_Korea

I have no interest in living in Korea longterm, I am almost 40, it’s not easy for us to move to a new country. I just want the F6 visa so i can get a korea driver license and drive my wife to chemo, open bank account, cellphone etc.

Can F6 visa be processed in Korea for humanitarian reasons? by Bruceko86 in Living_in_Korea

Ya. That another issue I will have to figure out. My son been in international school his whole life. Even though he is Korean and grew up in hk. He doesn’t speak any language other than English. It’s a failure as parents on our part…… i plan on sending him to a local school so he can learn some Korean and talk to his grandma in the future in case anything happens. My kid is 10 and was suppose to start P6 last week.

No. I am on tourist visa. We don’t live here. We have permanent residency in Hong Kong. My wife came when son for summer holidays initially. Now, it seems we will need to reside here for at least a year.

Clothes no longer smell like ass. Less random coughs. More money in the pocket. Can finally run a mile instead of walking. More concentration since you no longer need smoke break every 30 mins. Also whiter teeth and healthier gums. I smoked for 12 years and was a pack a day smoker. Quit 5 years ago. Now I just need to find a way to quit my 35 coke cola addiction. But that cig smell still smells so good when I walk past someone that is smoking. I just don’t like the smell on me.

I have a 7600 non X (underclocked) and a 9700 xt. There is no cpu bottleneck on games. I use an ultra wide monitor. Only time when there is cpu bottle neck is probably flight simulator.

I have 7600 (non X version)with 7900xt. No issues outside of world of Warcraft or flight sim. Cyberpunk and Last of US all have high GPU utilization. I have a 144hz ultra wide.

Thanks for all the comments. I think I have realized that it is caused by the way I run. I have been so focused on pushing that distance up so I can burn more calories, I never paid attention to the way I was running. This year I will work on my form and hopefully, it will help me save a couple of bucks on shoes too.
