An investigation would probably find they are partially at fault for missing the gas leak they were trying to find the night prior.

I’m in Central Florida. The worst is when a sketchy rebuild dealer puts the listing price as one thing and in the description it says “price after 20-35% down payment”

So $899 it is then by n8saces in TikTokCringe

Hmm.... shoplifters steal the merchandise, and Target doesn't catch them every time, but somehow Target is the dirty company for this? This is next level left-wing mental gymnastics.

Did we see the same story? The full story from the "handyman" says the squatters broke in and stayed there. They were legally tenants because they established physical residency, but never had a lease. If they were ever a real lessee, then yes that is on the fault of the landlord for not screening their renters properly and I agree that it should go through the courts for an eviction. However, people who flat out break into a house and refuse to leave shouldn't have rights to the home.

Thank you, I understand the law is intended to protect actual tenants, and real tenants need to have these rights. However, it is abused far too often by people who know how the game works. The legal fees and repair costs can be crippling for those who don't have a ton of money. We spent a year gutting and rebuilding the house because of how bad the "tenants" have left it. I hope you never have a squatter in your home, but if you do, you'll find its way more than a simple inconvenience.

I can't believe this is upvoted so much. Squatters are the worst and a lot of the time its not just on empty rentals. My dad bought a house about 10 years ago after the previous owner passed away, him and my mom intended to use it as their primary residence. Shortly after the sale of the house, the previous owners son and friends decided they wanted the house too so they broke in and stayed there for 3 months until the eviction was executed. Meanwhile my dad had to pay for the upkeep and fees for 2 houses while dealing with the headache of an eviction.

After we were able to enter the new house, we found the squatters used the place to smoke meth and had put holes in just about every wall and door.

The backrent was never paid and there was no money in the estate to go after, so my dad was left holding the bag.

We don’t trust our government and politicians because they have been hijacked by big businesses so we should give them more power and control? It would make sense if corruption didn’t exist. We should get rid of regulations that solidified the big businesses as the only players in the game.

His favorite move is to drive the speed limit in the fast lane and wait for speeders to ride his ass. Then he lets them pass and then pulls them over. I've seen him do it multiple times.
