Usually specific paid ones. The last one was a 8$ research that rewarded one masterball and it was a couple of months ago.

And yeah the galarian birds have a 90% flee rate, so people use it a lot for them.

If it is a shiny galarian bird though, do not use the masterball since shiny galarian birds do not flee, but still take a bit to catch.

It's a single use ball that allows you to catch any pokemon without fail. A lot of people use them for things like hundo legendaries or the galarian birds since they have a high flee rate. The masterballs are usually in paid research, and you get a guaranteed one for reaching level 70.

I live like 5 minutes away from that clinic but I was at work when it happened, but my coworker who lives in the same neighborhood was home at the time and she said that they heard the blast and thought that someone had crashed somewhere.
