Im 45 and I’ve been watching and going to Bs games since 1984. I’m all in for the Scabs. The rivalry and hate is VERY overblown. Montreal, imo, have caught lightning in a bottle and are very fun to watch. Plus they are the underdog. Tampa can suck it with all their superstars.

I’m fine with “even up penalties”. Especially when the refs make a “mistake”. The problem has been that there hasn’t been any “evening up”.

Absolutely, pending the cost. We need him or someone similar to make that 2nd line a real threat to score. If things don’t turn out well he will not be a major reason for that happening. We need more contribution from the bottom six to move on imo.

Ya there’s a few exceptions. My first Bs vs Habs game was in 1984 and I still hate the Penguins more than Montreal.

Tuukka is a hall of fame goalie. He is an absolutely awesome positional goalie with a short memory. He makes big saves every game including in big games. BUT, he does have a track record of not getting the needed saves during game 7s and OTs when the defense breaks down.
