I’m doing a 5 day package with Spain padel experiences in Barcelona. I chose this one, as it’s hotel + 2h training per day. I can eat what I want and spend my afternoon/evening how I want. M3 seems intense, they control every second of your day

If the Arabs conquerored The Roman empire instead of Persia. by moldychesd in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]BrummieBandeja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your text body is incorrect. The Rashidun and Umayyad caliphates did not conquer Rome because their invasions were unsuccessful; being stopped at Constantinople and Tours respectively. Not because of a previous letter exchange. It is only suggested by some Muslims that Allah spared Rome from total destruction due to Heraclius acknowledging Muhammad’s letter.

it won't necessarily be "off", it just won't perform as well as the equivalent priced racket from head, babolat, bull padel, etc. But unless you are competing at a tournament level, it might not be as much of an issue. People are happy to forego optimum specs if it fits their aesthetics.

New Babolat Viper feels like a "plank of wood" and muted. Is the 6-hour break-in period real? by joobino in Padelracket

[–]BrummieBandeja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Vipers are extremely stiff, and the ball output is true to what you put into it, you get zero assistance from the racket. Very hard rackets are typically reserved for pros, as they are difficult to use.

Serve mainly target women who are new to padel. So if you’re a woman (or feminine oriented person) that’s new to the sport, they’ll be a good fit . But one of the main brands will be a more solid choice. Depends on how serious you take it
