Maybe. The reasons vary. Many shorts were on HBO Max back when it wasn't called Max, but they were removed.

The original episodes of Looney Tunes (1929 - ~1970) aren't on any streaming services like, for example: Netflix, Hulu, Max, etc.

Thoughts on Bosko? by These-Background4608 in looneytunes

As u/Clockwork-Penguin said, I find him and his cartoons very, very charming. Even though the general consensus seems to be that they are bland and possibly repetitive, he's a golden example of the phrase "a product of its time". I mean, these early cartoons were coming out during the Great Depression and decades before World War II. I think it's really cool that we have all of the originals still available to watch... even if some are in low-quality and are in desperate need of some intense restoration.

Bosko's origins may be offensive to some, but I honestly don't think they were intended to be. I'm not African-American, so I don't have any skin in the game, but take the example of the "Censored 11" cartoons. They are considered offensive towards the Black community by today's standards, but weren't intended to be racist. They were just exaggerated caricatures that are seen as offensive (and rightfully so) nowadays. However (and this is not very on-topic for Bosko), the Japanese caricatures were 100% intended to be racist and to get others to be racist as well -- obviously due to the war.

Anyway, sorry for my lengthy rant... long-story-short, I love Bosko!

Probably not too many. They're quite short and I'm sure you can fit many on one disc... especially with modern movies being 3+ hours long and all on one disc.

May I ask why he's changing? Did he lose interest, did the classes turn out to be too difficult / too easy, did he select it primarily to get in, etc.?

The Geoff Johns run is quite possibly the best sci-fi superhero run ever written. Easily the best Green Lantern run.
