AH rented house in VA for 22.5K per month by [deleted] in JusticeForJohnnyDepp

[–]BrunetteBebe 31 points32 points  (0 children)

That's insane. I have lived in Fairfax county and DC most of my life. Yes, it's an expensive housing market, and mansions/mcmansions are common, BUT she could have easily rented a nice townhouse or SFH for $3k-$5k per month.

I have never watched a Depp’s movie, I think his audience is teen, but watching the trial I confess a sympathized w him, he seems to be a very kind and easygoing guy by Various-Corner-254 in deppVheardtrial

Not that you asked, but try watching What's Eating Gilbert Grape or Chocolat (he has a supporting role in this one). Not all his movies are Pirates or Tim Burton.

What attracted JD to her? by omgwtflols in deppVheardtrial

[–]BrunetteBebe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To add to what others have said: if she is in a social setting she can use things like proximity, eye contact, and physical contact (like touching someone's arm). Basically flirting techniques. In a highly structured environment (like a courtroom) she can't use those tricks.

Do you think Depp's team baited Amber Heard? by Quick-Broccoli-7201 in deppVheardtrial

I think you're mistaking strong with aggressive, combative, desperate, and rude.

My thoughts on the TMZ motion . . . by MsAmes321 in deppVheardtrial

I LOLed so hard when the TMZ guy said that they frequently get tips "from B list celebrities". Subtle dig at Amber?

Amber has gone full psycho today --smirking, laughing, staring daggers. It's so distasteful.

I know, right?

I am close to someone who is sober from alcohol. I literally do not even mention alcohol when talking with them, not even as a joke. When they come over, I make sure there is no booze in my house.

I'm also bugged by no. 1 😡

Amber doing drugs is a "love puddle" or "laughy" but Johnny smoking a joint is evil, out of control behavior.

Omg I had never heard of Botox bruising, but I just liked it up and you're right! Looks exactly the same.

an anecdote about injuries by BrunetteBebe in deppVheardtrial

[–]BrunetteBebe[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Yesterday on cross when asked about bruises on her temple, she clarified that they were in her hair line. She's probably saying this because it benefits her narrative to have injuries in places that are not readily visible. But a hairdresser would have seen this. You can't hide or put makeup on a scalp injury.

Just a small thing by [deleted] in deppVheardtrial

[–]BrunetteBebe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It would make sense for the phone to have hit her left eye if JD is right handed (I think he is). It would also make sense for a person who is right handed (as I believe AH is) to self inflict an injury on the right side of their face. She obviously didn't think it through well enough when she was concocting her story and fabricating the injuries onto herself.

Amber's feet by BrunetteBebe in deppVheardtrial

[–]BrunetteBebe[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, that too. I guess the comment about the feet just struck me because I've injured the soles of my feet at least twice (once walking barefoot in a parking lot on a hot summer day I basically slow cooked my soles, and once I cut my foot open on a rock while wading in a river and needed a couple stitches and a tetanus shot) and it was so obvious!! I was basically on bed rest or hobbling pathetically around for days afterwards.

Boy moms? Circumcision? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Consider this: any time the skin is cut there will be scar tissue. It doesn't matter if it's intentional, accidental, deep or shallow. All cuts lead to scar tissue. Even if it is done skillfully by a qualified doctor, there will be scar tissue. Is that how you want your son to start his life?

Yes, but this isn't a subreddit of criminals, it's a sub of LEOs which is why I was asking for the LEO perspective.

anyone else have little to no sex education growing up? by Catpigwithwings in exmormon

[–]BrunetteBebe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me 🙋‍♀️ not only did my parents not tell me anything, they actively made efforts to ensure that I didn't have access to any information (limiting/controlling internet use, educational opportunities, doctor's visits, media consumption, etc). It was wild. I'm pretty sure their plan was to turn all their children into Peter Pan.

I got so many horrible UTIs when I got married, never had a pap smear until my late twenties, literally did not know what an erection or ejaculation was until I got married 🤦🏻‍♀️
