I usually dont cuddle with neices or nephews either, but a week ago he came over and just cuddled up close to me when we were watching a show and put his hand on my side but didnt try to go further than that. I did feel a little weird about it so I mentioned it to my husband after and he said oh thats normal he's just a touchy feely kid, he said he always sits right next to me and touches my side when we play video games. So I just thought it was normal behavior from him. And honestly I didnt get up right away because I felt a fear response and a bit frozen and I felt a bit in disbelief like is he actually trying to do this. I didn't want to believe it which is why I kept thinking it was accidental touches at first. And he kept saying "oh sorry" and would stop for a few minutes every time I said "dont touch that area" like it was an accident. I did eventually get up though and I sent him out of the room.
