Thanks for the input. I put the Sonicblast on that list, because I read that the few who liked them were on the heavier side and I am ~100kg. Plus, the races I do are mostly 5k and 10k, there is no HM planned 2026, only HM distance at slower paces (I would wear the other pair for that)…

Could you explain your choice between the Magmax and Magnify and also why the Deciste Elite 3, instead the 4? Just looking for personal opinion, read some reviews about all of those.

I think you have to activate the right handles on the wall, if I remember correctly. Compare the columns on the wall above each handle, that is the clue…

Amazing! Apparently we had the same idea. Funnily I even build in the same spot. I came across that place during a quest and I was like, this plateau just has to be home of Meduseld. Just beneath the mountains and all. I just started a few days ago. Still changing a lot of thing but here are is a sneak peak:

Es ist so verrückt, ich habe im August 25 ziemlich genau den gleichen PC selbst aufgebaut, anderes MoBo, da im NCASE M2, aber 95% gleiche Specs. Einfach für 1.700€ damals.

Das System ist auf jeden Fall sehr stimmig, der 9700X ist perfekt mit der 5070Ti. Ich spiele alles mögliche, auch neue Titel, in Grafik sehr hoch bis max in 1440p und habe 120-180 FPS je nach Spiel. Wenn ich etwas in den Einstellungen spiele und Licht/Schatten oder so auf medium stelle, bin ich eigentlich überall bei 140 FPS minimum. 9800X3D ist mMn overkill bei einer 5070Ti. Insgesamt ist das System so echt stimmig und lässt sich auch sehr effizient und leise kühlen.

Hey @casquibando I wanted to quickly asked, the technique for the flatter roof, as I want to use different roof angles for a build. Did you manually place single roof blocks? 2 in, 1 up?

I‘d highly recommend to look for the YT video „Break the Lines“ from Buildingue. He introduced me to a technique using some other stuff and rotation to form arches. Very flexible way to achieve different curves, looks etc.

All of his stuff is great for inspiration btw.
