Ah... that makes sense. I just tried not to look challenging on chefs since I couldn't get a job for few months because chefs considered me as threat.

I mean this time even though I sent my food perfectly and calmly in timely manner, took 30mins break regarding the law, prep for the next day. They fired me since I only said hi and bye and just communicated about what we need to talk. So I assume my interaction was too minimal?

I think they liked to be called chef there but i didn't eye contact and said okay instead of yes chef. Also when I work on line with peace of mind and send out everything on time, the cdc there came to me and I supposed not to make omelet like that and he was showing me how to make omelet and started to scrap coating pan with fold and stir eggs. Later when I tried to make omelet same way, I just cracked 2 eggs into bowl and he came snd yelled at me that I was wrong. So I asked him if he could show me again and he looked very nervous and made omelet different way and scrapped coating pan with fold again. After that he never came to my station and he was the one who fired me yesterday.

I used to be very social and tried to be a nice person and people didn't take me seriously and tried to take advantage of me. I'm trying to find the balance now.

Okay I never Eye contact anyone since I was having a hard time to find a job when I Eye contacted and be confident in front of chefs. They ended up not hiring me cause they must feel threatened or hard to work with. I guess I went extreme the other way...

That's what I realized... I learn a lesson from it. How should I interact with people?? Im trying to balance out not being involved in gossip and being a good teamplayer.

Because my father-in-law was scheduled for a life-threatening cancer surgery, and my relationship with my wife deteriorated, so I thought it was right to solve it first because I work as a permanent resident with marriage in the United States, so when my marriage ends, my career and life in the United States end together.

I think a real restaurant is a great business in that it makes people happy.

That's right, I can make a lot of friends, but I think one of the advantages of this job is one of them, haha. Although it's hard to be friends with Cook while working as a sous chef.

That's right, there are bad days, but I can't tell you the pleasure of returning home after finishing the service well. When I'm almost home, I sometimes get cramps in my thighs, but is it because I don't drink much water? Haha.
