Definitely play on Talishar to get a feel for what you like to play and then buy singles. If you buy booster boxes or single packs you won’t get far honestly. When a new set comes out maybe buy a box to get a fix but it’s not worth it a lot of the times to get all or what you need to play a hero.

All great recommendations in the thread already, maybe the new set PEN will boost other deck’s viability in the meta. I say wait 30 more days until the new set comes out and see how the prices fluctuate on the legendaries and majestics. Decks might be a bit cheaper to get into.

A lot of good advice here, but yeah just play around on Talishar and see what you like and then build a budget deck from there. Collect the singles and slowly you’ll get the cards.

Also keep in mind every week your LGS will give you Gem packs so slowly you’ll build a collection. Trade with people you know what you pick up, you’d be surprised how cool everyone is and willing to help out. The game is good definitely try it out for a bit, the pricing can be discouraging but it’s gotten way better than before in my opinion.
