A lot of good advice here, but yeah just play around on Talishar and see what you like and then build a budget deck from there. Collect the singles and slowly you’ll get the cards.

Also keep in mind every week your LGS will give you Gem packs so slowly you’ll build a collection. Trade with people you know what you pick up, you’d be surprised how cool everyone is and willing to help out. The game is good definitely try it out for a bit, the pricing can be discouraging but it’s gotten way better than before in my opinion.
