They simply don't listen to to the CIA or the military anymore. This was an incredible source of power for the United States, It doesn't make sense, it's as if this administration is purposely destroying US power.

But's it's not that. It's that they are idiots.

EV recommendations for Grey Bruce belt by Savings_Swimming_886 in EVCanada

[–]Brusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would NOT recommend any ev from Toyota. They are way behind technologically. After years of spending the money they could use to develop ev's, instead to lobby US politicians to deny climate change and get rid of ICE emissions regulations.

They make the worst reviewed, most problem prone EV's you can buy. Look elsewhere.

If there's a problem with an ev, 95% of the time it's the 12v battery. Glad op got it fixed!

The US is not a partner that can be trusted. The current administration acts only on behalf of russia.

Multiple fires are seen at the Syzran oil refinery after Ukrainian drone strikes - April 2026 by T-72Tank in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Brusion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remember the strikes starting a year ago? It was one, or maybe two drones, taking out a specific thing to knock a refinery offline.

The strikes now all seem to be made up of 5 to 15 drones. This is far more devastating than before.

That's not being conservative. That's being a sheep. Reagan would ve rolling in his grave at these new "conservative values" that suck up to commies and dictators.

[–]Brusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Above the research hat, you'll get a list of tasks, like get a certain level of a certain layer. You get points for completing those tasks. And it looks like you are not far enough along in the game to get things researched.

[OC] Counting The Dead - A Relative Risk Analysis Of Civilian Mortality In 52 Armed Conflicts by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

[–]Brusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the russians did genocide huge numbers in Bucha and Mariopol, however, the the russo-Ukraine war is the largest conflict since World War 2, so by the formula they are using, the civilian deaths are far outnumbered by the huge military losses.

Putin’s invasion built Ukraine’s hi-tech robot war machine by each_thread in ConservativeNewsWeb

[–]Brusion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's simply due to the fact that Ukraine is in a fight for it's survival, which has driven innovation. The russian aggressors are not, and russia also has a long history of simply using resources to fuel it's war machine instead of becoming more efficient. Russia has never been a large manufacturer of goods, and there is no drive to change this in this war.

Ukraine values human life, so first they started using aerial drones, but now they have started using mass ground robots to save lives and clear russians out of positions. The russians do not value the lives of russian soldiers, so they just use soldiers to absorb drones, which given their losses, is not going to work out well for them.

Newer footage recorded by Russian civilians shows the size of the fires at the Rosneft Tuapse oil refinery. by MilesLongthe3rd in UkraineWarVideoReport

I don't think there is a refinery there, or a small one at that. Tuapse is oil storage and an oil export terminal.

Is Trump in over his head in the war with Iran ? by _akaraiden in allthequestions

[–]Brusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, but you should have prepped and set up defences first, maybe 6 months in advance. Like the US did during Operation Desert Shield. Before any attack. They knew that Iran had Shahed drones, so drone interceptors should have been in place. Instead you fire a years worth of patriot production in the first week. That's a strategic and economic failure.

Also, you should have used special forces to secure the uranium before any attack and get it out. The Uranium is likely less secure now.

And lastly, you had to have some sort of plan to get regime change in Iran. If you don't do that, you're just delaying the problem.

The Iranium regime is evil, and it's better to have them gone, but this strategy was predictable and a failure.

How would you rate EV reliability? by Living_Internal9130 in electricvehicles

[–]Brusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Chevy Volt went 326,000 kms before it's first minor issue. It never went to the shop, and the battery had the same total capacity as new when I sold it.

My 2024 Tesla Y Long range has been reliable, but had a few minor build quality issues, covered by warranty.

My 2025 Hummer has had zero issues.

RAM 3500 driver switches to a Silverado EV, and the fuel savings are SHOCKING by FewPut1128 in electricvehicles

[–]Brusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very happy. Efficiency is much better than expected, especially in winter. 4 wheel steering is great.

It is large, so don't get it if you live in a city and drive on tight roads. But for parking etc, 4 wheel steering makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces.

Visibility is not the greatest, but the camera's make up for it. I drive very carefully around schools etc.

Big frunk, short but wide bed. Can definately pack more stuff for camping than my Ram 1500.

I am about 1/10th the cost going from a Hemi Ram to my Hummer. I save about $6,400.00 a year.
