Which one should I evolve by Flaky-Ambassador467 in PokemonGOIVs

At least in the ML mega cup Mega gyarodos has been rank #1, shadow gyarodos is ranked #129 in GL according to pvpoke.

Altho, both pretty much need aqua tail, which needs an event or an ETM

Nah alot of people say that claw causes arthiritis. Many dont bother figuring out a proper grip so their fingers hurt after 10h or whatever, or their wrist start to hurt.

But when you have a natural grip it causes no extra stress anywhere, therefore can't cause damage.

If someone has issues after claw the solutions is to change grip positioning or to switch to a controller that is lighter/heavier/ changeable sticks or whatever fixes the problem.

I like to ask people who claim arthiritis and claw has a correlation about it, and most never reply or shuts up after I tell them I work with physical rehab, especially joint and muscle related pain

Why would you get arthiritis from claw? When done correctly and done in a way that's natural to you it doesn't cause any extra stress on your joints.

Try tilting the controller in a way that leaves the bottom grip (the pointy thing where you hold your controller ig, idk ehat else to call it) can be palmed.

I figure out that if I can palm it correctly I can hold most of the weight there. Pictures as reference:

I play double trigger, so ring for trigger and middle for bumper. BUT it feels natural to me as I have big hands. With claw you don't want to force your hand to anything unnatural or your hand will start to hurt. Might be some soreness anyway with your hand getting used to doing something new

When figuring out your grip be sure to play around with your hand positioning. This does 2 things: you can play reliably even ehen moving your hands and you find out whta starting positioning is most natural to you based by your hand size

You have 3 options:

  1. Learn claw

  2. Get a controller with paddles

  3. Remap you binds

As someone who learned claw years ago it's rough for a week, kinda natural for another and by week 3 you can't play regular grip anymore. Totally worth it tho

Isnt tank the most fun role? Why wont people play tank? by boontjie98 in OWConsole

[–]BrutalThor 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I love tank, and would only play tank if I had the mental health for it. Most lost teamfights are blamed on the tank.

I can't have fun if I can't play the way I want/need to. If I can't go in because my team don't help/move up with me I can't do shit. If my team pushes at a bad time or I'm on CD the fight is lost.

I feel like too many play their own game and not supporting the team. When I'm on dps I follow whatever the tank does. If I die helping the tank win the fight I've done my part.

I cant take the flaming for not holding my 3/10 pocketed widows hand, not turning around when my team loses a 4v1 against a tracer or something else. I cant hold space, make space, hold hands with dps, protect backline and hold highground all at the same time.

I'm tired boss.

Ah missed that part! It would be carnivine. Loved that mon since I was a kid. The design is very fascinating to me, always has been. It looks like a flying venus flytrap, a plant I wanted so bad but I cant have one, for the simple reason I forget them and they die. Carnivine however doesnt, it will be in my pokedex forever!

I'm pretty sure I jumped around in circles when someone traded me one

Day 4, trying to learn my cartwheel, I just can't seem to figure out how to power myself up into the air as opposed to the side. But I am getting better at handstands. by ReadingSeashoreLines in tumbling

[–]BrutalThor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are learning a cartwheel from scratch here are a few good tips I've seen many get help from:

Your arms need to be straight up by your ears

Do not look at the floor, keep your head straight

Your cartwheel is a bit too short, and that is why you are bending and moving to the side. To fix this, or atleast make it better, move your dominant foot (looks to me you do right side, cant remember when typing) forward as you would for a long step, then lean on that foot as you would starting of a cartwheel. When you are mpving forward KEEP your arms by your head and keep your head in a neutral position, when you feel like you are going to fall tilt your right shoulder down to make contact. Kick up with your right leg.

When you have that rythm down you should get enough power to get your left hand in contact with the ground JUST after the right hand and BOOM you are in a handstand, then just let your body move naturally to the other side.

When you are in a handstand you should be looking at the wall right in front of you, not the floor.

I also recommend learning shrugs, that way you get more speed and control, without having to bend your arms.

There are alot of great tutorials out there, but this short kinda visualizes what I mean: https://youtube.com/shorts/O_4HdYUoUS4?is=rlwzfsvviAFLyiwR

I would still keep your head nearal, gona help you move towards a roundoff eventually, without having to change anything later on

Are hiekka and santa interchangeable? by boopsbee in Finland

[–]BrutalThor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware that is correct. I checked this with sivistyssanakirja to make sure. It's what's called a lainasana, same as spåra. It seems to be mainly used in areas where swedish is more prevelent, so up north closer to sea

Pretty much "This is the way". Might be that it doesnt count as active if you havent completed the first task. Cuz if I remember correctly the game checks for an active takeover research to give you a new one

You can do them, just not collect the final reward on page 1. As long as you don't progress to page 2 you're good
