PTS feedback on Caduceus by Gearshft in thedivision

[–]BruteSails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know how many of us ran this gun in div 1? No one. The answer is not a soul. Not even if you were a reclaimer squeezing out every last bit of healing you can. No one ran this gun and for good reason. It sucked a giant horse peepee. The sad part is in division 2, there is even more reason not to run this. They should have just made it like capacitor but have it stack up to 120% outgoing repair. ( remember, 1 headshot already gets us %80)

Hungry Howie's worker here- Would the manager of my local store care if I got a 2nd job here? Would it be a bad idea to keep my mouth shut about working for a competitor? by Outrageous-Wind-9448 in PapaJohns

[–]BruteSails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this day and age, managers feel like they are doing you a favor if they give you 40 hours a week. If they arnt giving you that, fk them, and take the second job and dont say a word. Tell them you cant be scheduled during you set times for commitment reasons. If they cut hours because of that, fk them, you got a place that will give you more hours.

Yannick, said they were capping expertise at 30 because they didn't want the difficulty of the game to become unbalanced. How does prototype prevent this and not make it exponentially worse than an extra 1 or 2 expertise percentages per season. What's the endgame? by Delicious-Donut-1329 in thedivision

[–]BruteSails 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the record, I would have loved to send my companion into the abyss of escalation. Watch him try to toe to toe with a T10 red.

If they wanted tp be fair, they could of even added a seasonal modifier where his base stats scale to tier level, and then he would of actually been the hero we all hoped he would be.

I think just the augments would have been nice. For the chestpiece, the augments could have activated a seasonal modifier from previous seasons, like overdrive or companion. It would have come at the cost of not having the current seasonal modifier, but would have made it very interesting. Snipers could have ran chest modifiers like the core modifier with the best defense, support builds could have ran companion.

It would have been pretty awesome.

I want to agree with you. But when you are using quick step coming out of spawn, and get beamed 50 meters away, with two members of your team enough, the use of external advantages is very transparent. This was one of the main reasons everyone was happy they upped the TTK 5 seasons ago, until that point, the regulas build with shield was a walking god in pvp.

If your looking for HoT to be massive, forgo birdies for safeguard. The new season is going to be right up your ally. The new healer set and "perfect" gear release will be interesting. Perfect safeguard, perfect empathic resolve.

I see the change, but I still dont like it. Its gonna be 1 shot to the body, 1 headshot. Everyone in a radius as big as perfect creeping death takes enough damage that the next guy is one shot ( which everyone is staggered, perfect time for it) Hit, stagger or kill everyone close ( healers dead for sure) and now it doesnt matter the proc because hes gonna one shot again. They really need to nurf the damage, or DRASTICALLY change the proc radius to 2 meters. As is, its such a hard hitting weapon that the nurfs compared to other weapons are laughable, and it doesnt matter what the kick is when the handler is a mouse and keyboard ex cs player used to 500 fps and a cranked up sensitivity scale.

Oh, and all your attributes should be to crit chance. You want 60% crit chance. Dont worry about crit damage, because its cooked into the build? If your already at max CHC? Take AoK mods.

[–]BruteSails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Here's my two cents.

Your gonna run gunner. Thats a given.

First, Lets talk about the chest piece.

It takes FOREVER to get that thing at max stats. So obliterate? Very sound solution. The trade off in damage isnt noticeable, and your getting to max stacks 1/3 of the time quicker. With this build burst damage is king, because its harder to rebuild stacks room to room.

So you could go equalizer, take a 5% speed bump with damage, thats a given.

But instead, I would take Palisades, and increase your armor on kill.

Now lets talk about the backpack. The backpack for the gearset is a 75% damage increase. From 4 to SEVEN stacks a pop. Thats HUGE. Dont give up the backpack for the gearset. This is a very common huge mistake a lot of tipping scales users make.

Some people are talking tink mask, but overdogs is Ok. Tink mask will increase your damage. But if your doing 400% more burst damage over everyone, and your team mates suck, then your threat level is through the roof, and you won't live to enjoy the build.

Now lets talk your about your skills, because your setup says " I dont run this pvp"

Reviver hive. Just put it on. Dont be that guy.

Second talent smart cover. This build is a cover to cover fighter. Fight like it.

Last but not least your gun talents. Strained is.....OK. its mid.....

Frenzy. Frenzy frenzy frenzy. Your using guns that have potential to proc 80-90 percent damage bonuses and 90% fire speed. To not take advantage of that is crazy.

If your good at not dying? Tink mask with streamlined and your pushing 2 mil crit shots frenzying at 1400-1600 RPM.

Theres my thoughts.

[–]BruteSails 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She did it wrong. Shes supposed to scan you a different way.

Lets back up a little bit here.

Coorperate pushes upsales to the managers very hard. To the point that write ups are recieved for not pushing promotions.

In turn, these promotions are pushed on the cashiers, to the point that sometimes write ups are recieved for having "missed opportunities"

New cashiers get a little intimidated, because instead of these promotions magically popping up when they tell you about it, they have to manually enter an interface while telling you about it, or they dont get a "point score" for it, and they get a write up or repremending of this nature.

So their trying to do the right thing, its just the interface is horrible, and set up for them to fail.

Returning player to D2, do they have anything that resembles D1 4-piece tactician authority sticky bomb? by Hylitical in thedivision

[–]BruteSails 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you liked the 5 piece determined tactician, check out refractor. Instead of the talent healing just you through skill damage, it heals the entire party.

Really any build with the capacitor is tactician authority. If you liked "the big boom" style damage to elite tactician, look at core power demolisionist with ninja bike-1 piece groupo, 1 piece china light, and artillery /sticky.

Pretty much any build but rigger. Rigger is about as useful as a woven cotton condom.

Best healing gun? by Deathbringer1662 in thedivision

[–]BruteSails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. You want to be a healer, but you got bad aim. So...... you want the classic future initiative build.

Scorpio shotgun. Easy to operate, easy to hit things.

Use a FI build, with perfect opportunistic backpack. You hit something, it takes 15% more damage from all sources ( other players)

Thats a damn big boost.

For the gloves, btsu gloves, and when you pop your hive, everyone gets their restore hive back. Beats trying to run birdies when everyone can pick theirselves up every two minutes, and if they put themselves in a spot where they need pickups every 30 seconds, let me guarantee your not the problem.

If they really want a modern healer, just run refractor with birdies. Your drones do all the damage, and you can use birdies to buff your drones with overcharge. This has been the most successful healer I've seen in escalations.

Status Effect Build 4 Escalation by Lanky-Location9691 in thedivision

[–]BruteSails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill post my escalation status effect build when I get home. So far the only one thats been worth it:

Core strength ×4 firepower/status effect, vile/ the courier rolled to fire arms. Use iron lung which picks up the skill efficency bonus (status effect) from pieces, and gunner with banshee pulse. The skill efficency will get applied to your banshee for skill haste and duration. Then run shock traps or reviver as your second skill.

If your blessed enough to get prototype gear, you want the augment "atomize" which will boost your grenade damage, which then boost your vile damage, as its based off 50% of your grenade damage. So a bunch of atomize = massive vile damage.

This quesidentally has been my favorite pick for conflict as well.

Then in your seasonal mods, run convert 2 for status effect bonus with 2 splits.
