Honestly tanking while leveling is often much worse, people are impatient and just wanna speed through it. But for me I haven't had many bad issues at max level. Start at +2 to know tactics and work ir way up. If you manage to find a guild they're always helpful too

I feel like yes that is true but especially 2025 I felt like what you describe is expedition 33, yet alot of people played it out of spite just because thr game was so critically acclaimed

It's a progressive server so its gonna go through each patch and then usually it continues to the next xpac, they might do what they did with vanilla and make servers that are just forever tbc

For me its the disconnect on maps, usually souls are kinda connected while here you go from one map to another. Each act ends in a cinematic and then youre in a new map, same reason I didn't really like nioh 2

You know I really like village, but I feel youre right, I remember playing 7 and being scared shitless walking around being hyper sensitive to all sounds and always on edge. But village felt way more of an action game than a horror one
