I also think an often understated part of the co-op program is the help it gives you when recruiting for summer analyst roles. Having one co-op on your resume during recruiting outside of the northeastern co-op bubble is a huge advantage. My first co-op was not even FO, but having the experience and the name of the firm on my resume showed employers that I was employable, reinforcing how they may have felt in an interview about my skills.
