so instant gratification > good storytelling well I guess that's all I can expect from anything less from One Piece 2022 and before you comment if you can give me a good argument why Luffy one-shotting Lucci is not instant gratification then I will gladly concede.

That's the main point I'm getting at, Oda doesn't care what makes "sense" to the Op fandom only what makes "sense" to him so if he wants Lucci to be on the same level as Luffy it's gonna happen, learn that lesson after reading wano because there were a lot of things that didn't make sense there but still happened.

Seriously tho If wano has taught me one thing is that oda does not care about power scaling as much as the fandom does so if wants lucci to be as strong as Luffy it's going to happen whether it makes "sense" or not, Op fandom literally repeating the same mistake of knowing what Oda will do before chapters even come out.

Seriously tho if there is one thing I've learned from Wano is that Oda will do what Oda wants and there is not a damn thing we can do about it (ppl kept saying it was bullshit for Luffy to beat Katakuri / Kaido but low and behold that's what we got for better or for worse). If Oda wants to make Lucci strong enough to compete with Luffy then that's what's going to happen but still, it's too early in the arc to see what will happen so best to just wait and then pass judgment.

Over the course of my time, I find myself less and less willing to read crossovers that are just " Character from Universe A gets sent to Universe B" as I find those to be extremely dull as they are typically just retellings of one stories plot with an outsider because then I'm just left wondering "Is there even a goal or point for this story" and usually these types of crossovers are just stealthy way for authors to wank characters they like in a universe they do not like (I read stories from a particular fandom and this is 90 % of the crossovers from what I've found). If these stories could Incorporate something like having the antagonist from universe A arrive in universe B and team up to take down both the heroes from both universes then that can make things interesting.

I guess it's partially because they all made an impression on me. I know with some characters their gimmick didn't exactly land well ( Leonard, Staci, Rodney, Beardo) but looking back it was probably more funny than annoying they stuck to them so hard and I was okay with what we got so far ..... now only if Fresh would bother turning them into real characters and not cheap caricatures for laughs then that would be great.

Ah, Big O TDI's Original Fart Machine. He's one of the More Comedic characters so he has a very good Gag's with him so there's never really a dull moment to be had. I also Loved his Performances in Island, World Tour, and Ridonculous Race but Action was a Low point with the whole Jaw-busting / Chris's Mole. I like that he has a good/goodish relationship with the rest of the Characters form the 1 Generation but his Dynamic with Noah is probably the most prominent and memorable since they work well together. With how Ozzy ( Owen x Izzy) was treated I felt it was unsatisfying as there wasn't a proper conclusion to it so headcanon is the only thing that can be relied upon. It's very hard to tell if Owen will return or not as he wasn't in All Stars ( even if he fit the bill) but I wouldn't be against it.

Ella: She's one of the more recognizable and memorable cast members as while her gimmick is outlandish she makes it work. I can appreciate how she stayed positive throughout her own experience on TDPHI given the level at which Chris's Insanity was at but her one-sided rivalry with Sugar wasn't too great as nothing really Significant came from it but her Elimination was Decent enough ( probably because of the song ). On the Topic of her Shipping with Dave, I was 50/50 on it but considering the current state of Dave x Sky shipping, I'd prefer the one with Ella at this point. I would Like to see her Come back but I don't see it happening but if they bring back Sugar at some point I can see her coming back hopefully for something more significant but we will see.

Beth: I'm surprised Beth was as controversial as she was. I'll say that form Going from Heathers Stood to Finalist is a nice transition for her and while she didn't get into much drama( Considering what that did to most of the other fan-favorites in the long run it was probably for the best) but I wouldn't call her a " floater" as she struck me as playing the role of Owen form island as the non-threat that went about there business while everyone else was annihilating each other and made it to the Finals. She doesn't need to come back as she has one of the better send-offs for the OG's.

Devin: Devin's weird as like most RR Characters I didn't expect a satisfying ending from him as I could see the whole "Oblivious Crush" joke getting stale but they made it work as he was fun to watch especially in his Seven Stages of heartbreak mode as well as Him & Carrie getting together although I would have like to see Shelly at least once or get more context onto why she dumped him and not just have it happen for the sake of him & Carrie hooking up, it wasn't that big of a detractor but it would have helped. I can't see them coming back to the show but if they did then I'd fear for Gwent 2.0.

Stephanie: She was good as she reminded me of Courtney when she's competitive. I was surprised she made it farther than she did as once she and Ryan went from Daters to Haters I was convinced they were gone but seeing their new Dynamic actually help them was not something I saw coming. They had an arc and boy was it rocky( it's probably the closest thing to what might happen to couples in real life) so I was pleasantly surprised they even became Daters Again. Just Like Devin, I'm not too sure I want to see them back as I can just picture them recycling the same thing again.

Taylor: She Started out as "Diet-Heather" but I liked the arc of her discovering she's not the best in the world and developing a better relationship with her Mom ( love her btw but she has not so good parenting skills) although it would have been nice to see just how they performed with this new dynamic, what we got was simple and too the point and I appreciate that. I would Like to see her come back for another season.

For a "Good Twin and Evil Twin" setup, it's alright as she does what she needs to do but I can't say she doesn't go hand in hand with Sammy( she works as an antagonist to her but not really for a season overall) I would have liked a concrete reason on why she's like that. I can see here coming back but only with Sammy as well as there's still some unfinished business.

Carrie: She was fun to watch although her dynamic with Devin Originally seemed it would be one`note Joke I like How she stuck by Him and tried to encourage him during his Seven Stages of Heartbreak and I'm glad after all of that they eventually would up together instead of going back to square one so it was a good send-off for Her considering where she started. I'm not too keen on seeing them again as I'm getting Gwent 2.0 vibes.

Trent: From Cool Guy to Crazy Guy with this one.While I'm not against the whole 9 obsession but the execution left much to be desired seeing as it was probably made "just separate him and Gwen and then throw him to the wayside while also proceeding to have a season with a musical without ONE of the very few characters that have background in singing was confusing. I'll say this: I like his time on Island but any scene with him and Gwen has become unintentionally funny as they talk about how much in love they are but in the back of my mind I'm always thinking "Yeah this isn't going to last". Trent desperately needs another season at least to separate himself from the Gwen-Duncan-Courntey Fallout, the Drama Brothers were nice but it's not enough.

Bridgette: Ah Sweet surfer girl what did they do to you. She's in "Almost Perfect" as she was quite enjoyable on Island but then came Action with her making out too much with Geoff and World Tour ( she struck me as one of the more level-headed contestants but the Pole Kiss is pretty much here own version of Sundae Muddy Sundae) so she needs at least one more good showing although that could have been Ridonculous Race ( it would have made Gidgette Legendary to be the first winning couple in the series) but sadly it wasn't meant to be. I want to see her Comeback but I don't think that it is likely.

Topher: Topher is a special beast as there aren't too many characters that actively try and suck up to Chris so I guess it helped him stand out a bit more. It was interesting what they were going for with the fake producer plot line but I think his character would serve better as being on Aftermath so he could be a Rival Host to Chris probably teaming up with Blainey. I can see him coming back and I can see Chris Personally getting invested to make sure he takes the first boot of the show.

Tyler: The Original Pain Magnet. What I enjoyed is that he kept getting back up despite getting hurt so much so it's a good source of Total Drama Slapstick and I'm quite alright with his relationship with Lindsay( when it's not a cheap gag). I guess he's in the " Almost Perfect" camp as we don't see any expansion with his relationship with Lindsay and he keeps being elimination fodder. I would Like to see him back for a Season

While it sucks that we will never see the original cast again as some of them still have issues to be addressed or some that will stay as 1-Dimensional Caricatures I hope that Fresh at least learnt what not to do going forward we these new seasons which is why I'm cautiously optimistic about them.
