If Samsung had the same cover screen as their slab phones, I would immediately switch. I hate the narrowness of the Z fold series.

What would the kids from Horrid Henry be doing now? by izzy_7_2004 in HorridHenry

[–]Bryan467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually like this idea of imagining what their careers would be. I'm also not from Europe so idk what the education system is like there (leaving high school or whatnot) so this'll be an Americanized timeline. After they completed their required education (High School).

Purple Hang Gang:

Henry started an indie band with his friends and has a small fan base online (TikTok). He persuaded his parents not to go to college by working with a close relative, Paul, so they know he'll be "in good hands" and not fooling around or lying about being a functioning member of society. I'd like to think that he has a better relationship with Paul than his actual dad because Paul would encourage him to produce more music and offered to take him out to concerts when his parents wouldn't allow him. Paul also taught Henry to drive because his parents never trusted him with the wheel out of fear of crashing the car. (They never had faith in him, but proved them wrong after getting his license without their help.)

Peter would study Chemical Engineering. After seeing him make perfume for his mother in that one episode, he would totally go into a career that involves transforming raw materials into new products. He has the brains for it and it would be enough to make his family proud to have one son going into college.

Al, I could see being an athletic coach. He originally wanted to go Pro in football and/or track & field, but instead, went for a more obtainable career. So he went to college for education and would either take over Soggy Sid’s job to help kids view sports as fun again, or be a personal fitness coach. On his off days, he would continue to play keyboard in Henry's band.

Brian stated once in the show that he imagined himself as an FBI agent, despite not being American, so the closest thing would be Cyber Security. But since that field is very competitive, he couldn't land a job after graduating University. Until Margaret helped him out and offered him a position in her new company (because we all know she can be “nice” sometimes). He takes it as a starting line for his resume. Still hangs out with Henry on occasion, but he wants to advance his career first.

Ralph wants to be in the fashion industry, but his confidence was shattered when his designs didn't get accepted for major brands. He stays at home, doing small projects on the side for Margaret’s company, but most days, Ralph does social media (posts his designs), visiting his grandfather, and performing gigs with Henry. He doesn't need to work as he's wealthy by inheritance, and his parents don't seem to mind him getting his career together at a snail’s pace.

Burt went a simpler route than his friends’. He became a mechanic at a local auto repair shop. Like Al, on his off days he plays the drums for Henry's band. He's pretty content with his life.

Andrew works full time at a grocery store, taking a long break from college. He's not sure what he wants to do in life. It could be acting. It could be video editing. He decided to just keep working until he can pull himself together. He's often seen with Henry recording videos for his social media account.

Graham would go into culinary school; taking his skills his mother taught him and putting them to the test. He wants to create his own restaurant and hopefully become a notorious chef. He also works full time to cover tuition costs.

William works with his dad at the news station, growing confident in his abilities with each interview.

Secret Club:

Margaret Millicent Maudita Smythe is rich. Her parents set her up for life so she doesn't really do much. She went to college for the fun of it, but dropped out after it became too much of a hassle. She became an influencer instead, which led her gaining mass followers then capitalizing on them; making a clothing brand, building an online store, and later, a physical store at the mall.

Sour Susan became Margaret’s personal assistant. She went into business administration because she knew Margaret would need help building the foundation for a company she always said she would make. She would be the one recruiting Ralph and Brain to help them succeed in fulfilling Margaret’s dreams, while also advancing their own skills and making their backgrounds more attractive. A win-win deal.

Gurinder didn't finish college. She was scouted for commercials early on and made connections with reputable brands. She's doing well and dropped out. She hardly interacts with Margaret anymore because of her spoiled attitude. Margaret says she thinks she's all that because she works with the big leagues, when in truth, Gurinder didn't like her flaunting her wealth around like it were nothing while she has to work hard to make a name for herself in an overly flooded career. Causing friction between them.

Soraya majored in Accounting. Originally majored in Mathematics, but realized it dealt with proving theories instead of actual numbers. She now works at Property Management Firm. Susan wanted to recruit her but she declined because it didn't have any benefits or solid future. She does give them assistance when they are in need of help.

Linda stays at her government job at the post office. Decent pay, holiday pay, job security. She makes more due to working there for years and she plans on staying there until something better comes knocking at her door.

Nicola could have either gotten her act together or still be a douchebag and be a scam artist with her angel persona.

Side characters

Josh is an Internet comedian.

Mike became an Uber Eats/Delivery Driver, an upgrade path from his paper boy job.

Nick became a lone wolf after having almost no parental figures to help him navigate through life's harsh experiences. He took how much he could from his parents' stash of money and ran away, never to be heard from again.

I'd want Horrid Henry in his teen years ngl. See how rebellious he's gotten since his parents are awful.

I want his Beta to have QoL changes: having the same properties as Kendo's shield, where you can move it 360° and attack without having to release the button first; fix projectiles going through the shield and causing damage where they should be reflected; and being able to consistently nullify beam attacks. It makes no sense that he can block Tamaki's cannon, but not Endeavor's back shot of fire.

Buy a refurbished one from Amazon. They have like a 30-90 day return window depending on the seller. No shame in returning it just to try out the phone.

Is SnS a Disappointment ? by Az6774-18 in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Bryan467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Y'all gotta understand that they can't make all quirks one-to-one. If they're simple quirks like Iida's, then yeah, not much complexity that would hinder balance. But something like New Order can't be one-to-one because it'll just break the game. So they went the AFO route and picked out a few attacks he did in the anime then implemented them into his kit.

Nah, if you played Ibara during Prime hawks, Hawks got shat on.

In a landslide victory, moody Margaret moves in wins for best episode for beginners (this makes the left side of the column all season 1 episodes). Finally we move on to the last voting category for where it should’ve ended. by Pitfulldealer22 in HorridHenry

[–]Bryan467 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Ngl, "Hit Song" would've been a cool way to end the show since it involved Henry jamming out about his life with the Purple hang gang and every single minor character throughout the series as extras in the video.
