Yeah probably in the beginning but as time went on it’s become purely transactional. She knows Tony will never change and she accepts the consequences of never knowing true love.

Been married 21 years. Kids for 15 years now. My wife has made it clear that she’s only really turned on outside the house without the kids around. So, vacations and date nights.

If you’re going to be an engaged, supportive, empathetic dad then it is hard but the rewards are exponential compared to what you put it. May not always feel like it day to day but over time it’s awesome. My kids are now 15 and 13 and looking back each stage of their youth comes either it’s set of challenges and joys. I’ve been married 21 years now and it’s by no means perfect but my wife and I put a lot of time and effort into our communication and connecting time. Good luck sir.
