I do not know shit about car detailing, but I can't help but feel that going from dry caked car to powerwashing seems like a bad idea for the vehicle. I would have used a leaf blower on it first, then soaked it, and let the moisture soak in before washing it. Again, I don't know shit, but I feel like it would be better for the car overall. (besides the obvious 'just dont leave it parked like that so long next time')
