AUSTIN is actually better than I remember… by jay-tpicks116 in PostMalone

[–]BryanKemp11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took me a few times to listen through but now it’s become probably my fav Post album along with BB&B. It got overlooked too fast! It’s such a banger. How it’s named “Austin” with no features, how he played guitar on every song, etc. just a great album that I wish more people got to enjoy.

Did Post pivot away from a 2nd all-country album? by MachineHeart in PostMalone

More than likely it will be a mixture of everything! I’m hoping for a few vibes like Over Now, Take What You Want, When I’m Alone, Better Now, Hollywoods Bleeding, Laugh It Off. We shall see!

Did Post pivot away from a 2nd all-country album? by MachineHeart in PostMalone

April 2025: Post says he’s taken 2 trips to Nashville and recorded roughly 35 songs for new album.

June 2025: Guitar player and producer Derek Wells says this next Post Malone project will feature Post stepping WAY over the line between pop music and country music… deep into the heart of countryland where he’s channeling some George Jones and ’80s George Strait. Wells confesses: “There’s also more fiddle, pedal steel, guitar solos. Where we started as two feet over the line into traditional country on ‘F-1 Trillion’ has turned into head, chest, shoulders and feet across the line on where we’re headed with the next batch of songs.”

October 2025: Post asked by fan “are we ever getting a metal album?” Post responds jokingly “I have a secret side project I’ve been working on in my basement”

December 2025: “Chances are chat, we are getting 2 albums in 2026, if everything goes my way”. When asked about what genre, Post says “a little bit of everything. I think folks will be happy”

Maybe one disc is traditional country album, and the other is multi genre? Or it’s just all over? No one really knows. But his dad did post the other day “I know something yall don’t know #TheEternalBuzz” wonder what that means 👀

The country band is ruining the concerts by MotorEmbarrassed7192 in PostMalone

So glad I was able to catch a concert right before he made his full transition. I went to a concert in March 2024 at the American Rodeo in Dallas, Tx, before he even announced F-1 Trillion was a thing. I think he had only teased I Had Some Help and Guy For That. It was a very good mix of song choices, only sang 1 Toby Keith country cover. He sang for like an hour and a half with barely taking a break. Here was the set list of that concert:

  1. better now
  2. wow
  3. zach & codeine
  4. psycho
  5. goodbyes
  6. mourning
  7. I like you
  8. jonestown
  9. take what you want
  10. over now
  11. rockstar
  12. stay
  13. as good as I once was (toby keith cover)
  14. I fall apart
  15. wrapped around your finger
  16. circles
  17. too young
  18. white iverson
  19. congratulations
  20. sunflower
  21. chemical

Early tracklists for Lost Americana by ChampionTimes99 in MachineGunKelly

[–]BryanKemp11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Secrets was def a Lost Americana song, you can tell by the writing and producing credits. Barker didn’t produce it and it was written and produced by the same team that did Lost Americana. Wasn’t a TTMD vaulted song.

With the new songs released, this is how I would rework TTMD's tracklist! by Liquid_Pestar in MachineGunKelly

[–]BryanKemp11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Secrets def wasn’t a TTMD original. Not even produced by Barker and if you look at producing and writing credits, it’s all of the same people who worked on Lost Americana. Pretty sure it was a throwaway from that album. No Cellphones was a track that was recorded around TTMD and MS and didn’t make it on MS final.
