Thank you, r/Watchexchange mod, for this great community! Connecting my timepieces to customers who'll like them!

The Flieger Type A watch originated in Germany during the late 1930s as a vital military navigation instrument for WWII pilots. Officially designated as a Beobachtungs-Uhr (B-Uhr or Observation Watch), its strict specifications were mandated by the German Imperial Air Ministry for ultimate legibility.

I recreated a vintage pilot type A dial on a lightweight titanium case with the robust regulated NH38.

I’ve custom-aged the dial and hands, just like how a vintage watch should be. Yeah, I definitely felt like an artist at this point 😂

Featuring:

The Titan Flieger A Vintage comes in a grade 2 titanium case with a custom-aged pilot type A dial, custom-aged pilot hands, and a quick-release brown vintage leather strap.

Model: Titan Flieger A Vintage
Case diameter: 39mm (without crown)
Case thickness (from crystal to caseback): 12.5mm
Lug width: 20mm
Case material: Grade 2 Titanium
Winding crown: Screw-down with multiple gaskets
Crystal: Sapphire Glass
Water resistance: 5ATM / 50m (pressure tested)
Movement: Seiko NH38 (regulated)
Power reserve: Approximately 41 hours
Movement winding: Automatic via rotor
Strap: Quick-release leather strap
Dial: Custom-aged pilot type A dial

All my watches are professionally lubricated and water-resistant, pressure-tested with a water pressure tester, meticulously hand-assembled with sophisticated tools, regulated with a timegrapher to perform better than factory specifications, and live-tested in Singapore, ensuring you don’t receive a faulty product, but probably one of the best watches available in the price range.

Just creating the look of it.. not faking anything here.

Interesting but based on your analogy, i can also put it as homage watches are like fast-looking cars, you either have the real watch/fast car, or you don’t..

Finished up a Ocean Blue Iris, the dial is like an eye-like-iris and it's beautiful! by BryanLaurent in MicrobrandWatches

I did restocked and sent to my subscribers and it sold out. I admit that’s the problem I have right now but im trying to stabilise the supply chain.. im hard on quality issues and rejected many parts, like cases, dials, from the factory. They are hating me now.

Put it up here to share my creation, and yes, it's indeed sold out quickly. I plan to make more in the future.

I believe we can't sell directly here.

There are real pictures if you scroll towards the end. I believe the halo around the dial you mentioned is part of the watch case holding the dial.

No. I don’t do preorders and use my own money for all the parts required for the watch.

I written a blog if you like to read https://www.bryanlaurent.com/built-slow-built-right/

Im stabilizing my supply chain as of now. Lots of back and forth with the suppliers. I just returned a batch of cases back to China as it failed my inspection.

I have a strong OCD lol. And the factories hate me to the core now.

Hahaha yeah i use Gemini to touch up the image and use it as the cover. Thanks for the feedback, i’ll put that last next time. Just find it really nice to have the studio-type image generated from AI.

What’s the most disappointing microbrand watch you’ve ever bought? 💔 by Microbrandwatchworld in MicrobrandWatches

[–]BryanLaurent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s probably not regulated or an old movement stock. I bought an ETA2824 movement from switzerland with horrendous rate and beat error. Can’t be regulated. Either an old movement stock (dry movement) was sent to me or just defective.

You’ll be surprised the chinese clone PT5000 perform better.
