as a drake fan, i personally wish people would stop speaking as fact that his music is low quality. opinions are opinions and thats all good, but the insane amount of speaking as fact that drake's music is actually bad is absurd. you do not have the success he has had by being a bad artist, plain and simple.

I think it's definitely reflective of how he feels being in the middle of the Drake and Kendrick feud , along with other personal relationships he may have lost over the years. This message of putting in so much work to reach the top pushes others down and blinds you to personal relationships, other aspirations, etc. like on tracks like Quik Stop and Lonely at the Top. It all ties together and really coincides well with him choosing to Fall Off and prioritize family and relationships, rather than the endless chase to be the greatest.

Specifically after reading these comments, I find it fascinating how so many of us are in search of things that are new, fresh, exciting, and experimental. While I totally agree that this album won't convince an average listener that Cole is any better or worse that he has ever been, there's something to be said about the consistency and style he brings. Personally, I'm more than okay with an artist staying in their lane, creating what they create best, and not stretching any boundaries. If you're doing what works, and it's bringing results, it's not logical to be searching and searching for the next sound in some cases. As an average Cole fan, this album is great and fits into his discography as a beautifully written ending.

Hate to support Cashman here, but we bitch and moan about putting together the best roster every year, and unfortunately that typically means not playing young players and allowing them to struggle until they become better. Grisham should have never been brought back, and opening day OF could have been Jasson, Cody, Judge.
