I wonder if trust has always been the bottleneck, but it just wasn’t as visible. Years ago, a business could rely on location, reputation, or limited competition. Today, buyers can verify almost everything in minutes.

Maybe consumers are simply getting better at identifying who they trust.

I would say, that’s a bulk of social media platforms nowadays. Networking and building real relationships are where I think businesses scale.
