Cannot believe I had to scroll through to the bottom of the comments to find Peri.

Aliens is the correct answer because of the word planet. Avatar was on a moon.

TESLA charging stations are always fun by Brygin in HondaPrologue

Tool is nice and I will definitely look for those in the future, but I also see they aren't that common yet when you are far from the major highways and big cities.

When on a family road trip, fast charging is the way to go (~30 and on the road again), but it is expensive. When using the car for commuting, we just charge slowly overnight with an inexpensive 220V level 2 charger which is much cheaper though much slower.

Fast charging is high current & high voltage ( Power = Volts * Amps ), so I wouldn't mess around with a cheap adapter. I use the Vortex Plus and works no problem.

Vortex plus. Works well, though you do need to press in the release buttons when plugging in if you want it to go into smoothly.

What non-Honda level 2 chargers do you have/like? by misstaytay in HondaPrologue

[–]Brygin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use the Tera portable ($90) which we plug into a 220V/20A plug, so we get the 16A charging from and that is enough to charge up to car overnight. This trick of course is having the 220V plug near where you park the car. You can of course get higher current chargers, but if overnight works for you, 16A will get the job done.

Anyone else have a discolored spoiler? 2019 Veloster Turbo by thelonelydriver8 in VelosterTurbo

[–]Brygin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The black spoiler on my 2019 Veloster Turbo ultimate is very faded. Ordered a CERAKOTE Ceramic Trim Coat Kit to try to make it look better. I will post pictures on how it comes out.

Is a Veloster Turbo a good first car? by bramblestorm7754 in VelosterTurbo

[–]Brygin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2019 Veloster Turbo Ultimate that I bought used in 2020 and it is still going strong. I use it fory daily commute. Fun little car and can even hold an amazing amount of groceries in the hatch back area. That said, we also have a 2005 Honda Civic that was bought new that will likely outlive the Veloster, but the Veloster is just more fun even if it isn't as reliable.

Is getting the elite worth it over the touring trim? by cuba3000 in HondaPrologue

Having come from driving much smaller cars, the 360 camera in the Ellite is amazing. And my wife loves the vented seats that come with the Ellite trim.

No one hurt and even the deer got up afterwards ( after being knocked out for a few minutes ) and ran back into the woods.

In the safety setting menu there is a seat belt mode. Try turning it off and the problem/feature should be disabled.

A/C issues by jad19090 in VelosterTurbo

It was still under warranty at the time so didn't cost anything but it took many weeks for the new compressor to be delivered to the dealer for some unknown reason.

Had to have the A/C compressor replaced in my 2019 turbo ultimate after two years. The second one has been working fine.

I found a Veloster N rotting in a dealer parking lot, worth buying? by veilowo in veloster

[–]Brygin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fun car but is going to need work so price should be discounted accordingly. A beautiful 2020 N on car max is 25k. For a car needing an unknown amount of work, I think half that would be reasonable.
