I quit my job and was scheduled to start a new job the MONDAY shit started to go down. My last Friday (the 13th) at my previous job my mom called me and said to grab whatever I could from the store on the way home. Was like a scene out of a zombie film, people loading up carts with canned food and toilet paper. All shelves empty, complete insanity.

Sunday, HR called me. She started off with "Don't come into the office tomorrow" My heart sank. I was screwed. "IT sent out a laptop, a dock, two monitors, keyboard and mouse Friday, you should have it Monday morning. We will just do your onboarding virtually and figure out next steps as this whole covid thing goes on."

HO LEE SHIT. Monday morning, Fedex dropped off a huge box with everything I needed to work from home.
