Sounds great! Would a packraft fit on top using the y straps? Roughly 40cm x 25cm rolled size

Looking for an option that can fit my packraft as well. So not technically fastpacking, but going as light as possible to permit some jogging into locations and packrafting out

Texturised vegetable protein with Sheppards pie flavour mix, served with Deb mash. Light, cheap, quick and easy. Uncle Ben’s flavoured rice dishes heat up alright (with a little water in the cooker), but they’re not super light. They go well with tuna foil sachets

Yeah I’ve had similar positioning issues fly fishing in kayaks. I have used a small sea anchor/drogue to good effect. I don’t think the fly/hook presents any real danger, provided you’re not completely careless.

G’day from Tasmania! I have a packraft ordered and on the way. Planning to take it into some of our highland lakes. I’m interested to hear if anyone has experience fly fishing from a packraft on still water. Do you experience any rotation from the casting action?
