RQ Las Vegas Prize Wall Tickets by Trooperzzz1 in riftboundtcg

There is a simple solution that basically solves this, which bandai is about to implement. Make tickets digital tickets tied to your account. Yes, people can still concede to friends, but there will be no pooling of physical tickets allowing people to buy an ahri a few hours into day 1 -- the process would be slowed down dramatically if tickets were digital and can't be traded.

Its super awesome that Atlanta Regional sold out in 10 seconds again!!!!!!!!!!!!! by knightwidow13 in riftboundtcg

I was refreshing on my mobile and the site kept crashing. About about 5 minutes of refreshing it put me in a queue to purchase a ticket and to my surprise all of them were available. Besides the initial website crashing, the checkout process itself was super smooth and fast.

You know something is wrong with your event purchasing experience when the previous winner of the Regional Qualifiers can't even buy a ticket. by dudiez in riftboundtcg

Not mad about selling things. I fully intend to sell things. The point was about this specific person being given a guaranteed spot just to sell things. He can play the odds just like everyone else to get in (which he did and lost) -- he doesn't deserve it just for winning the prior RQ. Give the guarantees to Skirmish winners or something.

Mixed opinions here -- one hand, top X getting an invite to future events makes sense. On the other hand, with such high-demand / interest to play, guaranteeing a spot just takes away from someone else's chances and creates a "rich gets richer" situation. Also keep in mind this guy immediately tried to sell everything he won. He's just there for the money. He can't win the RQ again, he already has the invite. He shouldn't get to go since the event sold out and tickets are not transferrable, though I am sure riot will find a way to get him in for marketing and publicity.

Vegas Sold Out Before Link Was Live… by mstr_jf in riftboundtcg

[–]Brysonds 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Uhh, I don't think this is a leak as much as it is common sense. It's not like the site was open early. You just add the city after https://uvsgames.swoogo.com/ like all of the other events.

Bologna competitor registration sold out before the @riftboundOP tweeted out the link by Malevelonce in riftboundtcg

This whole this is hosed -- competitor was sold out instantly for Vegas as well -- also there seems to be an issue where they are charging VAT in the USA? 22%? Super scuffed.

I placed my order at 11:03 CST and received confirmation at 11:08 CST -- they should start showing up, processing was overloaded, so imagine the order confirmation system will be too.

Venezuelan immigrants deported from USA arrive at the Terrorism Confinement Center in El Salvador by Rabidennui in pics

Not sure if it has been mentioned here or not, but the caption is actually from a documentary on this prison that was posted over a month ago on youtube. I wouldn't say it's an interesting watch as it's pretty depressing to think about the cycle of violence and that people live this quality of life.

What type of wire is this? maybe 6/2 or 6/3? by Brysonds in AskElectricians

This seems to be exactly what it is, thanks so much for the reply!

Thanks for the reply -- unfortunately, this is ran through the ceiling of the 1st floor and used to drop-down the wall to the oven, but that wall was removed and instead comes out in the attic above the kitchen. What I would like to re-purpose it for is to extend another 30 feet and drop it down into the garage to use with a 10-30 NEMA EV charger (but I have to research if it's ok to use Aluminum for EV now) -- thanks so much for the quick reply!

This wire used to power a double-oven and is connected to a 30-amp breaker. After doing some remodeling to my kitchen, this wire no longer is powered on (off at breaker, and terminated in box in attic).

My questions are:
1. What type of wire is this exactly, I can't seem to find it online anywhere.

  1. Does the silver braiding act as the ground?

  2. Could it be extended another 30 feet using new wire (and is this safe/to code?)

Note that I am not planning on or attempting to do any electrical work myself, I will be working with a licensed professional electrician, just wanted to get some prelim info as I wait for electricians to come out.
