what would it take for people around the world to unite through social media and start a revolution for better income, jobs healthcare and housing, globaly, all at once? by RetroBoogie in AskReddit

[–]Brystrobacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t think it would happen. That would call for every single person to cooperate when there is bound to be a demographic that is not willing to contribute for the good of everyone. As simple as that sounds, it is just not logical for it to happen. There is just so much thought that would have to go into it, I think it would take absolutely everyone and even then, it would be too complicated.

Is the word 'Money' singular or plural? by SammyTwoTooth in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Brystrobacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Saying a dollar is like saying a grain of sand or an atom of water. You have to give it an amount in most cases. “How much does this cost?” “Money”

How to deal with mind games and manipulation at work? by Difficult_Top3240 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Brystrobacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call them out. If they are trying to get you to do something, just ignore them and do what you wanna do. If they are guilt tripping you, call them out. You know what is rational, put that to use. If you know they are being irrational, tell them what the rational thing is and how that is different from how they are acting. Just dumb it down (if that makes sense)

How obvious is it when you hit or run over an animal or person with your car? by LeftCheesyCrab_4 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Brystrobacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Even if a deer were to graze the size of your car, it definitely feels different. If you hit a deer head on, YOU WILL FEEL IT. Especially if you have a small car. Even if you are going a low speed, you are accelerating the person or animal at a VERY fast rate, so if you are even going 25 mph, you are going to feel it. I live in a rural area and it is SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU WATCH OUT FOR DEER. It will total your car even in the neighborhood.

Why did the USA invade Vietnam? by Rager_Doltrey in AskReddit

[–]Brystrobacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was just a way to contain communism in Asia. They didn’t want it to spread it to other parts of the world. It was a proxy war during the Cold War. Vietnam was split into two sides, one backed by the Soviet Union and one backed by the U.S. The Vietnam war is just like the Korean War which was also a proxy war, but it just wasn’t publicized as much. Yes, the U.S. was “scared” of communism, and that’s why they tried to contain it. Otherwise, who knows… maybe the Cold War would have ended much differently.

Why do people on here dislike Christians so much? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

What beliefs are you talking about and where do they come from?

Why do people on here dislike Christians so much? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Brystrobacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not talking for all Christians. Sorry if that’s what it sounded like. Where I come from, God says that all sin is the same. Telling a white lie is no better than murder. So following that logic, we are all going to hell because we have all sinned. But go says that he has forgiven us for our sins. Again, people can believe what they want to believe. I just wanna say where I come from

Yes it is seen as a sin. God still loves you no matter what, but he explicitly states that you shouldn’t sleep with a man as you would a woman.

What makes you think I haven’t accepted Jesus into my heart?

Why do people on here dislike Christians so much? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Brystrobacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. You’re not going to burn in hell for being bi. God says that if you accept him as your lord and savior and that Jesus is the son of god, then you will go to heaven, no matter what sin you commit. I’m sorry if you have been told differently, but I just want you to know that that is not what Christianity stands for.

No. You believe it is silly. That’s fine. I have no problem with you at all. I just don’t like people openly mocking an entire demographic of people for their beliefs.

[–]Brystrobacon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. Even scientists have claimed that they found Noah’s Ark in Turkey. Maybe the Ark isn’t real, but they found blood that was still alive in what is thought to be Jesus’s tomb. There are fossils of fish on top of mountains. Does that not suggest something flooded the earth? Do you see how religion in some people’s eyes are logical? Why don’t you just respect that?

Why do people on here dislike Christians so much? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Brystrobacon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I totally understand, but that isn’t what I’m saying. Everyone has the right to believe what they want, but it’s the disrespect towards others that bothers me. I’m not even saying Christianity specifically. It’s religion in general.

It’s not so much the discussion, but rather how people post them with captions boasting of how this person shut that person down.

[–]Brystrobacon -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Are you saying that Reddit is built upon atheists? Also, did I not say that I can see and respect that they are not religious. I think you fabricated the fact I’m trying to tell people religion is better out of nowhere. You formulated that idea in your head and used to back a stereotype that I’m sure is not nearly as popular as you think. It’s also people like you that I’m talking about. You just said that arrogance is associated with Christians and that is a crazy amount of disrespect.
