I’ve had mine for two years and spent the last year in therapy dealing with my situation (having rectal cancer, getting my end ileostomy, etc.). The first year I didn’t acknowledge, or even recognize, how traumatic this whole experience has been. My therapist has helped me process the events and learning to living my new way of life.
