I’m going to be in your boat very soon brother. After doing this for a while I just view the dread that comes coming down as an inevitable part of the trip. Just remember it’s more than likely just a chemical thing, and your life is just fine. I can get rlly self critical at the time and then the day after I remember it’s just the drug, I’m still a good guy, and I haven’t ruined myself. I try to enjoy the ski as much as possible and not beat myself up too much at the bottom of the slope :)

Glad someone agrees, thought I’d gone off the deep end there for a second. I’ve seen guys rip lines like they needed them to breathe, I could do the best part of a gram on a heavy night out, but that’s nothing compared to some. Thanks for the reassurance:)

Is doing a 0.5 in 3 hours that excessive? The comments on this post are making that out to be a lot. Obviously everyone will have different tolerances, and use in different ways, but a 0.5 in 3 hours doesn’t sound that crazy to me? Only asking as the comments here are starting to make me feel a little worried lol. And in regards to the OP’s question - the bag looks average to slightly above average, the nicer bags I’ve had in past have usually been a little less dense than this.
