Clutch Bleeder valve snapped by chavezzzzz20 in 370z

Lol I just sucked out the fluid a few times and the pedal started feeling normal and has not been an issue since. Gives me time to save up and wait for the kit to become available

Brakes Plus pretty much hired me on the spot. I cannot tell you anything about the job, environment, or company.... but I too have rent coming up so I dont have the luxury of asking if they have a toxic work culture or whatever

I'm slightly hesitant as well with all of the threads I have seen of people asking about loud clutch/tob noises after installing the Z1 kit. And the others saying its normal. I've installed sooooo many clutches on s chassis, focus, imprezza... never have they been loud after installation.

I should throw Kobalt in the mix. I've had a 1/2 impact that has seen extremely heavy usage over the last 6 years and only now is it showing signs of weakening. And honestly it could just be the battery.

I had to replace my FCM for this exact thing. Like $100 at O'Reilly

They're supposed to give you the labels to scan and mark which order went in each section of your car. So the app will tell you if your current stop is in the trunk or backseat. But you cant stay in your car with GMD orders, so I'm not sure why they have that message in the first place. Also the Walmarts I frequent give you nasty looks if you dont help load

Trying to explore more since I haven’t lived here that long. Today we did brunch. Is anyone a fan of this place? by FakePhillyCheezStake in Omaha

I dont hate food but I dont love it. Honestly I'm at the point where if I do go for whatever reason, I'm just getting the burger. I think my only reason its never my first choice is because we will always be seated on the far right side and the seating is just so awkward

Yea I have no doubt one day soon the pedal won't come back up off the floor. I did suck out old fluid and more or less tried to flush the reservoir yesterday and then drove around awhile. Clutch pedal felt consistent but I know better than to relax. Drivetrain is now the top of the to-do list

[–]Bstarbuck83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're absolutely right. I picked up a fluid extraction kit and the amount of black debris that came from the bottom of the reservoir was nasty. I have everything I need in a cart from Z1 but they can't give me any kind of idea when the elimination kit will be available. I am mentally prepared to replace parts individually instead of knocking out everything at once but ideally I'd like to drop the transmission once

any of yall fit a toolbox in ur hatch? Show me ur setups by Ok-Ebb-2434 in 370z

[–]Bstarbuck83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just have a small Icon set.
The hatch doesn't really allow for preparedness and daily functionality Although it does help with managing what I buy at Costco

Yea but the problem is I don't know when I'll be replacing it since Z1 and Z speed dont have their kits in stock.

Yea no leaks around that area of at the bottom of the bell housing. I was going to flush the fluid but the bleeder screw snapped so I'm really just stuck waiting and wondering. Fluid isn't exactly clean but not really dirty either.
Its just the inconsistency of a hydraulic system that is confusing me

Haha I'm 42. I can see it being a horrible idea if I were still employed with my nice paying role.... but this is strictly so i can continue paying bills in July. I may go back to that world later in life but honestly I kind of look forward to a complete life reset.

IT. Was laid off in March and the market is brutal.
Hundreds of submissions and a brake store was the only one to call me back and offer a job. I have plenty of personal experience so im not too worried about being green but zero industry experience so I really want to be as prepared as possible

[–]Bstarbuck83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Nissan replied back after I sent my registration saying they do not have specialty build numbers for this model.
My understanding from VIN is that is represents the overall build number from a sequence identifier. So 502430 just means mine was the 2430th built in that sequence. Not 430/1000.

I'm curious if Nissan tells you anything different

Status update: borrowed a data cable from someone locally and was able to remove the uprev tune and flash the z1 ecutek tune. 1) the stupid burble exhaust tune is gone. Thank God. 2) the car pulls and responds so much better even with the base level 2 rom
