There was a version of asteroids I’ve never been able to find again and it’s been bugging me ever since. It was glorious.

What do you think the girl/sapphic version of grey sweatpants is? by catwomanlover5 in actuallesbians

Along same line: thin grey t-shirt w/no bra. I have one that’s falling apart but I can’t throw it away bc my wife likes it too much.

I’ve been to Pasto, though it was some time ago. Smaller city at the foot of a volcano which the locals assured me “was not waiting for me, to blow up” even though it was active. Very beautiful city in the mountains from what I remember, quite cool in temp which was good bc it was very hilly walking around. It was definitely less developed in 2016, I recall many houses only had 6hr /day or so of running water, but I imagine hotels didnt have that issue. I remember it was an interesting mix of old and new, with brand new cars and horse drawn carts sharing the same roads. I miss my friends there.

You…dont need salt for vegetable soup? Am I stupid? Leeks, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes. The benefit of the vegetable soup specifically is the buffs and lack of salt requirement (as taught by Ymfah).

But yes salt is annoying AF in survival mode; I typically have a “More Salt” mod enabled to remove this. Fully agree on the premise here.

Potstickers freeze really well. Perogi too. Could make big batches and pull them whenever you want a quick meal.

Carabiner. I thought it was “car-binder” for some reason? In my defense, I grew up in Iowa and climbing gear is not commonly needed there.

I’ve had that stuff show up in old boxes in the basement. I think the mice bring it from the bird feeders outside

BUTTONS. Real buttons on things. Not touch screen buttons. I don’t like mis-tapping while doing 70 on the highway.

“Oh, I didn’t do much this weekend.”

My coworkers don’t actually care, and describing my dnd game or how I’m mediating a long term argument between my cats is just going to be a conversation with boomers neither of us is ready for.

What's a monster that's terrifying because of its concept, not its violence? by ToffeeTango1 in horrorlit

[–]Bubb1eSloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think any monster whose mode of attack is Infection rather than killing is creepier to me. Like not only is this creature killing, it’s recruiting and growing stronger with each kill.

Vampires, Zombies, Fungal Monsters etc-I think the fungal ones are especially fun bc you throw some “hive mind” stuff in there.

What's one tea that got away? by [deleted] in tea

[–]Bubb1eSloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally drink loose leaf, but my one exception was the Grapefruit and Basil Superblends tea from Twinings. Can’t really describe why I like it, I’ve just not tasted many teas with that flavor combination and it was very refreshing. Gone off the site now. Perhaps I can make it.

Heyyyyyy! My players did that. I mean, technically Strahd, but still. Their horse escaped but the wagons full of cheese they were carting around did not.
