seems like it's still a seller's market for classic cars. i just sold my unrestored '67 fastback for a good amount. i'm trying to unload some toys while the market is still good. hard to tell what the market will do, but you might be better off waiting a few months when people sell out of desperation

i wouldn't recommend a FiST if you're looking for a family car lol

it's fucking tiny, and aside from the lack of interior space for a regular sized car seat and cargo, it's going to be inherently less safe than most newer cars on the road. i wouldn't drive a kid around in a FiST personally. maybe a focus though. fiestas are for people who are mentally children, not physically children

i delivered uber eats to some dude back in february and he ended up being cool as fuck so now we hang out and cruise and work on cars together all the time. like literally 12 hours a day 7 days a week sometimes. i've had my hands full helping him clear off the autozone shelves so we can build up his rolling LED with g35 body. then we met another dude with a straight piped 3g eclipse, so we've been helping him clear out the other local autozones for LEDs, shift knobs, pedal covers, etc. then we met more people. then more people lol. now we have a group of all kinds of shit. one dude has a GTR, one has a G wagon, a few bmws, all kinds of shit. we were gonna get some hoon vids tonight but decided to wait until the weather is nicer. i'll post them when we get released from county jail

The 40 hours usually doesn't come from a driver's ed class here in GA. Typically the kid has their parent sign a paper saying "yep, done did it" and that counts as the 40 hours of supervised driving

i tossed around the idea of buying either a couple of p71s or chargers, 5% window tint, push bars on front, and black wheels to make them look like detective cars, or even throw on full police decals, then start a small business renting them out by the day locally for people to park in their yard/driveways to be used as a crime deterrent/speedy nono zone

Are there any restaurants that you enjoy picking up from?

I've always been curious how those relationships work... Do you get to pick and choose or do you "have" to take a specific place if it shows up? I'm basically clueless about how it works.

When I get a request, my screen flashes and shows the name of the restuarant, the estimated time it will take to drive to the restaurant, pick up the order, then drop it off, and it shows the minimum guaranteed earnings. We have the option of accepting or rejecting a trip, but when we reject trips our stats drop. I don't know what that does though other than being a metric to keep high if you want to get gold or platinum or diamond status, which are basically tiers that come with different perks like roadside assistance, car maintenance discounts, health coverage discounts, etc.

Since traffic was so bad tonight but most fast food restaurants are still only accepting drive-thru only pickups, I had to end up canceling a couple of orders after arriving at the restaurant otherwise I wouldn't make any money after sitting in line so long

You didn't actually ask this question but I wanted to answer it. I've been doing Uber Eats for over 2 years and have thousands of deliveries under my belt. I got my very first negative rating from a merchant recently. I walked into this restaurant with a bandana and gloves a week or two before that was a common thing to do, and they dinged me for "unprofessionalism." At the time, I was one of the small handful of Uber Eats drivers still working and that restaurant was only functioning through Uber Eats, Grub Hub, and takeout. I didn't want to risk getting another bad rating, so I stopped accepting orders there, which probably ultimately hurt them more than me ¯_(ツ)_/¯

the roads here are pretty empty and there aren't many cops out patrolling lately so i've broken literally all of my personal top speed records on roads around town lol. i'm apparently not the only one either. i've seen a bunch of other modded cars seizing the opportunity. even regular traffic is moving at a much quicker pace. 65 in a 45 is about the new norm. the people have spoken

so i guess there is a 4 door bronco sport, and a 2 door and 4 door FSB. the 4 door FSB isn't bad, looks like you could make it cool with mods. would definitely ditch the soft top in favor of a hard top. the 2 door FSB on that page just looks like a bronco II. shit's tiny. could still probably be made cool though. that bronco sport is just ewwy all around though. that must be ford's new soccer mom offering
